The best place i have been in this year,friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

Yes the linen was old and faded, There were spiderwebs in the bathroom. The blankets on top of the cupboard were dusty. We did not complain as we know it was not a star rated establishment. We did witness the manager/owner being very rude to two other guests. Suddenly their accommodation were costing them more then quoted before. When they questioned it, the owner/manager was rude and disrespectful.I will not make use of Boer and Brit again - not because of poor bedding and a dirty room but because of the attitude of the host. It was disgusting.

This is a very comfortable basic stay... tidy and extremely hospitable well worth the rates charged. The friendliness of the owners are exceptional and they are extremely accommodating and KIND! THAT IS IMPORTANT! OUR highlight was the pool extremely clean and the kids had so much fun. The fact that the kitchen had a stove with oven that worked beautifully made cooking a bliss. Thank you Bjorn and family for a warm welcome and great stay! You saved Christmas for our family...my granddaughter had relocated so This was the only way for us to be together and you helped our family have an awesome one!!!

We had a family gathering in Ladysmith this weekend & l booked 4 rooms. We had no towels or soap & room smelt very musty. When we asked why we were told that people steal things by every unfriendly owner. He was very rude to my other family that also stayed there. Would definitely not recomend staying there.

After a late night car accident, my family and I urgently needed a place to spend the night.Boer & Brit went out of their way to assist us at 1am in the morning. We are truly thankful and would reccommend Boer & Brit to anyone.Amazing place with great owners.

Crummy, dirty and old. Lights, fans etc dont work. Zero improvements or maintenance for years. Wont see me again.

Good value for money

Place is ok, not exactly what I expected! I expected air-conditioned rooms, since the area experience such high temperature. I bought towels while there because their policy is to wash every 4 days! To me thats not acceptable. Rooms had a stale smell since they dont have air vents and carpets where not too clean.

No go guest house treatment is bad.

Booked a room for two days.. something came up.. was notifie by bnb and canceled.. asked if I could be refunded, was told by the person at reseption in a very rude manner that its my fault and they wil not refund me.. dont have a problem with that butt they got paid for two days and we canceled the first day.. so if someone came there and needed a room.. did that person stay for free... 😶😶

We were in an accident just outside Ladysmith, these people picked us up at the police station, gave us a room, and made us quiet, and made sure we had everything we needed for the evening. We allowed to stay in our room until my son came and fetched us the next afternoon without any extra charges. Beautiful people, and beautiful clean guesthouse. Many thanks Boer and Brit
