A great one stop with a wimpy and a KFC the service is quick and efficient and ablution facilities are clean and modern.

Non crowded, neat and clean restrooms and forecourt staff most friendly

Great place to stop on a long journey with children. The play area is great and very safe. There are also family bathrooms which is a big positive. Would recommend stopping here rather than busier places such as Harrismith. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Travelled by bike, toilets was clean,Wimpy coffee was great, fuel stop quick and effective. A nice oasis to stretch out and to relax for a while.

This Engen can do a bit more to increase their performance. Expect to possibly wait to fill up if you are there over the holiday period.

On 21 Jan we stopped at Egen 1 stop near Tugela Plaza. The bathrooms are a disgrace. Most taps were not working, door handles hanging off, and the stench of sewage permeated the building. Not surprising that there were hardly any customers.

Restroom locks broken. Taps broken floors wet ..... AGGE NEE MAN!

Please get your KFC to stop false advertising. There website on Tugela engen says they are open till 20h00 and they close at 17H00

This Engen reminds me of the Vaal Engen 1 Stop - if fuel stations along the N3 had sister garages like how cities have sister cities. This would be the sister 1 stop / fuel station to Vaal 1 Stop. Both have good layouts with good services but are not kept clean and not well run. Pity. Id only stop if I really need to. The last 2 times I stopped here the Wimpy was closed - and it was supposed to be 24 hours!

Rather mediocre. I expected more from this petrol station, as it has just been renovated. The ladies toilets were not in proper working order, the handles to flush were not yet functional, so I had to find a way to make the contraption in the wall work. We had lunch at the Wimpy, which was fairly okay. The waitress took forever to bring Us our drinks and when the food arrived, she had still forgotten to bring the butter and cutlery,and we could not find her. My baked beans in my breakfast was cold and really didnt match up to the Wimpy meals I have had before. I hope that the place improves as a whole. This is a main route for people traveling, and really should be so much better.

This place has the cleanest bathrooms. And always someone in there cleaning them.

I would give this place a 0 stars if possible. The winpy gave me a burger with just a patty and cheese. No garnish or sauce. Absolutely pathetic service. Dont waste your time stopping here. Carry on driving. Kfc just as pathetic.

An okayish petrol station but the facilities are not up to Engen standards — it seems this Engen was opened/reopened prematurely. There was no shaded parking, the Wimpy was short stocked and the womens bathrooms were in an appalling condition (although they were reasonably clean): No water (and the smell of their toilet detergents wafted through to the eating area), and a long queue to enter... There was even the sound of a dog barking from within the bathroom. The person I was with turned around and decided to hold out for a later stop for hiegenic reasons. There water was also very overpriced with their 1.5L (R22) more expensive than a 2L coke

This is the most disgusting services station Ive been to. Toilets are a mess unflushed and not working. Says they revamping but hygene has left. The shop smells of urine. The coffee machine isnt work. Kfc has a lazy rude manageress named Cindy that sit sleeping in the back and cant help you when there is problem. Kfc is not stocked correctly and lack of stock you still get charged for items you dont receive. Filled up and the staff member could rush off quicker. Didnt offer to wash windscreen. And I pumped my own tyres. This is a service station to drive past.

Very poor service. Fuel attendants show no urgency to help customers. Waited 10min before being attended to and garage was not busy.

I stopped to use the restroom and dropped my cellphone and only realised this after i had already driven 20 kilometres. I used my granddaughters cell phone to phone mine and a Mr Sithole one of the petrol attendants answered my phone. He was very decent and said he would hand it in at the office. I really appreciated his honesty and decent manner in which he handled the situation.

There is no water for a while now. Canthelp wondering if it is a health concern. However, service was impressive at Wimpy with no tables to spare.

This is the worst Engine garage Ive ever been to . 1 you wait 15min to get an attendant , 2. They dont use speed points at night. So you have to get out of your car to go que inside to pay. On N3 even worse its busy. @Engine Tugela you dont deserve our money
