I used to visit here forty years ago and was pleasantly surprised at the new signage which pointed out everything. The road up there is a horror but we came up through Platrand Lodge otherwise you have to walk up. The views are great. A must visit if you are interested in the Boer war.

Visited a few years ago, was a great experience along with other sites at Ladysmith. The cemetery seems to have been neglected in recent years and could do with some restoration work.
