Wow! What a lovely place to to have a meal, stay or have a drink. There is a gift shop, coffee shop with amazing looking cakes for the sweet tooth. Too gorgeous!

Very friendly staff and a very relaxed atmosphere.

I have mixed feelings. The week before the service was outstanding. On Tuesday night my daughter only got her ordered meal when the rest of us were done eating. Very disappointing. The pizza was excellent as always.

Really enjoyed this restaurant, lots of birdlife and vegitation, freindly and good value for money.

They have good GUEST rooms, some of those rooms are named after birds. In the yard there is a bar, the play area for kids and also the restaurant. Other people just use the place for purposes of the restaurant and bar. The staff there it is also cooperative treat their customers with a smile. However I there is a problem with the parking, I think the safety of GUEST cars is compromised and there is also no way to the Birds rooms from the parking

I like the surrounding... Its refreshingly cool. Their menu was on point and the staff was really helpful and kind. I visited this restaurant in winter so I liked the idea of a fireplace. Its really a cool place and also good value for money

Environment is superb. Full of plants and trees. Its a garden restaurant. They also have indoor sitting. And have private sitting arrangements. We chose the seat near to the kids play area. Service is very good and also has plenty of food options to choose from. The neighborhood is safe and they have parking outside, which is also safe. Very refreshing. I could very easily give 5 star rating if the food we ordered was good. It didnt meet our expectation. But that must be that particular food for that particular day. Because otherwise I loved their service. And I saw other people were enjoying a lot.

Great place...serene environment. Very good place to relax away from the hussles of the big city. Very clean surroundings as well save for the gaping potholes in most parts of the area which is the Local Governments worry. Kudos to Mr Morena (reception) for his great service and Leah (housekeeper) for her good service as well. We stayed there for 7 days.

Service is poor when the kitchen has to cater for a big group and then the service go a bit down from the current client that is expecting to have a good meal. Some of the waiter are very incompetent and dont know which sides to offer with what meal

Sides are no longer calculated as part of a meal so very expensive. The food was okay but the flies kept buzzing around us. Ive had better experiences there in the past.

Whenever we ate here, we had good food and at prices far better than were used to in Joburg. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly and polite. A lovely experience.

The food was amazing. Generous portions and so delicious. They were accommodating allowing our little one to join the table in a high chair and letting him play with the saltand pepper shakers. Not really kid friendly for toddlers that want to run around but abosultely stunning and something quite special.

Disgusting service. Took half an hour to serve 2 beers. Dinner took over an hour then to crown it forgot cheese sauce with chicken snitzel, no parmesan cheese with pasta dish etc. Where was management /owners? Felt sorry for Johan trying to cope with inept staff

45 minutes for an omlette and 2 French toast breakfasts with no other tables in sight. Poor service.
