By now we all expect Builders to be as good as Builders happen to be, and this one is. But. This is Richards (ykwim) Bay - heat wave Capitol of the southern hemisphere! - and no industrial aircon? Whats that hole doing in your foot?

Great experience, with friendly staff and quick service. A place with almost everything house renovations related under one roof. From plumbing to painting or car accessories there is something for everyone. Prices are a bit more expensive than others but if you are looking for a clean environment this is the shop. A mask is required in store and social distance is a must according to Corona virus rules and regulations to keep everyone safe.

I could have rated this establishment with 5 stars but the culture of staff in the mornings is not professional. They stand in groups and catch up on their kasi news. Otherwise, I got help but the guy was in a rush to go back to his group so he doesnt miss out on the burning issue of the morning.

Not very happy with this product at all, these type of fittings are not the best.

Their garden department is under staffed. There was one lady on duty today and at least four customers needing assistance. They also dont have the correct size trays for some of the pots on display or they have the trays but not the pots. This has been the same situation for months now. One would be better off ordering online and have it delivered to your door.

Not a nice place to shop at all. Cashiers and Frontline people are rude and not helpfull.

Very poor experience. No customer service. I came all the way from another town, Melmoth, to buy from you. No stock available, no floor assistants to help. Waited more than 10min, but nobody came to help.Dear ManagerPlease sort your employees out? Tell them to help customers and not play on their phones all day. If you need any assistance on customer care, Im available. Train your employees to work in all departments. Then the service might pick up.

Management, pleassssse make sure that cleaners and staff not to use the disabled toilet. Although the other toilets were vacant, the cleaner, NOT disable found it much more convenient to use the disabled toilet, it is extremely annoying. Coming out the toilet this employee with an attitude, because a staff member got him out of there should be educated. Disabled facilities are there for a specific reason! Please show a bit more compassion for the disabled in future guys/girls. Thank you.

Today i was standing at the lights division for a half a hour without getting any help. I than left. Two days ago i asked a staff member for a price on interlocking pvc mats and he didnt help me. Hope i dont have to go there again.

Just another Walmart store...

My mother went in store today with a list of items we need for a home project. Not only did they almost make her pay for 2 packs of an item when there was only one, they also didnt include one of them written down on the list, without mentioning if youre out of stock or not. Just generally.... negligent staff. My mom is incredibly disappointed by todays experience.

Always very friendly and helpful, specially during lockdown. They are the only store that let the elderly pass the long line’s. Thank you for caring.

Normally find what Im looking for

I have never had a problem with any of the staff at the Richards Bay branch, (Town Square) they have always been helpful in every way. I phone the call Center in Cape Town today 21/12/2019 and was so pleasantly surprised, the ladys name was Chene i hope my spelling is right, (she answered the call) she was friendly and answered my questions and knew the product i was querying and what she was talking about. I will always support Builders Warehouse. Thank you for good staff training may you all have a blessed and prosperous new year.

Service was a little shoddy but once we found someone who knows, he went out of his way to assist.

Only because I had to give them a star to write a review but they dont even deserve a star. The shop is open but the man that works at the curtain rail department only starts work at 9H00. This is what I was told after he had been on his cell phone for about 15 minutes then left and when asked to return to help me his working hours only start at 9. Dont think Ill be back!!!! SHOCKING SERVICE!!!!!

I drove there for a specific item that their website indicated was in stock. Upon arrival an unhelpful chap informed me that they did not know where the item was.Time completely wasted.

I was refused entry today although I was wearing a faceshield it was however not good enough as I was told I must wear a mask, WHY?,? With a faceshield my whole face is covered and my glasses dont fog up.I bought my faceshield from you in the first place and now the rules have changed now its face mask or youre not welcome 🙄🙄eish........
