The staff is very friendly but the owner of that lodge is very rude to her customers, she doesnt know how to communicate with her customers, there are some chalets for certain people, the owner must treat her customers equally,we did paid a lot of money for just a day visit because she didnt wanna give us the chalet that we wanna book an the chalet was available for that night, she said its for some people, please mam treat your customers equally. Thanks for the staff they were friendly to us

Its a beautiful place. It needs a bit of updating in activities to do. The game drive was a bit of a let down because I didnt see much of the animals and lack variety. Otherwise it was a decent experience

It was really nice, just like it was advertised. But the gravel road was a bit longer than expected, didnt have the proper car for gravel roads

Sisibala is a good and growing resort but needs a high maintenance and well trained staff from reception to game drive. The ranger must know lot about animals and narrate to guests with regards to all animals living there.Massage was so poor, receptionist doesnt have that welcoming of guest to make us feel comfortable. Let alone the tone she used on us, but had to spend from our own pockets to buy beverages at the lodge. Why not be served? Then, they should inform guest on time to bring their own.Rooms are not 100% tidy, one of the guest was nearly bitten by a spider whilst asleep. Pest control is recommended. The main remote gate closed while the bakkie was passing through which caused a serious damage. The manager/owner was on her high horse to resolve that problem. Now, you can see that, the staff lack training hence they do as they please in the absence of manager.I wouldnt dare to recommend Sisibala to anyone

Ive enjoyed my stay at Sisibala Lodge but our chalet were FILTHY. I was also disappointed as we didnt have a stove and kitchen sink, I ve got the impression that well have them because its self catering.

They are really so rude when you call them... The lady told my husband they only answer important calls and he should phone back next week! Really unprofessional, wont call back or go there... So disappointing when people are like that.. But our money is important enough.. Not our phone call!

I expected more for R1550 per night. You really dont get much for that amount of money. Most of the chalets have no view at all. Only a few channels on dish. Not even decent cutlery to braai. The beds are so hard couldnt sleep most of the night.I will visit again as a day visitor. The bar hardly had anything to drink. Nice place to have picnic with the kids. Swimming pools look great but indoor warm water swimming pool was cold. R400 for a 45min game drive are a bit much as the driver didnt give any information about the game but the game that are so tame made up for it. The nyalas came up to 3m from the vehicle. Definitely a great wedding venue.

It is a beautiful place, the staff is friendly and helpful. The game drive was great, and the view from the mountain is amazing, but the pool was out of order. It is a great venue for weddings.

This resort was certainly a beautiful place, but it is very neglected. Aircon does not work in 3b, recreation room is dirty and salon exists but not in working and neat condition. Pool fairly clean.Tour for animal viewing disappointing. Few animals and tour guide unfriendly.4 Star rating definitely no longer applicable.Lady at reception was helpful.Definitely not worth the money.
