The public camping facilities are good ,but as the name suggests especially when the wind blows, it becomes red.The restaurant does a good job in catering good meals reasonably priced.

Comfortable camping site. We always stay here when travelling to and from Namibia. The food at the restaurant is tasteful and not too expensive.Definitely worth a visit when passing by.

Nice place. Had a pleasant overnight on our way to the Kgalagadi. Restaurant food was good. Very friendly staff. Had a good cool down in their pool. Springbok and other “bok” made for some good entertainment in the camp.

Lovely resort and well run with very friendly staff. The restaurant was also great. My wife loved the welcoming drink. Ablution block was spotless and a pleasure to use. Nice to security cameras all around making you feel very safe.

I only stayed one nighy, but what a great place. Good restaurant, great views and peaceful environment. Will return for sure.

Great overnight stop, the private camping spot with own ablution is worth the little bit extra, although the communal camping sites and ablutions are very good. Very nice restaurant with good food, will definitely go again (had delish oxtail with red wine)! Oh and there was a tame springbok who was best friends with a goat, they came to say hello at the campsite!

Love the Kalahari and this place just made it better. Very friendly farm animals and the rooms are neat, organised and clean.Had a lovely stay!🐴🐷🐮🐑

Great restaurant with great food and friendly staff. Ablution are clean and stands are nice.

We have thoroughly loved our stay here. The bathroom is clean and modern, the campsites are spacious with individual braais and sinks. We havent yet tried the restaurant but it looked well priced and the braai night they had when we arrived smelled incredible.

Excellent spot with wonderful private campsites. Ill definitely be back if Im in the area again.

Red Sands is for sure a destination that i will use again and again, friendly staff, nice camping sites with own braai, basin, electrical points and lights, the ablution blocks are of fantastic grade.

Great overnight stop en route to Kgalagadi, West Coast or Southern Namibia. Clean ablution block at campsites. Quiet. Enjoy a early morning game drive before you depart. Friendly service. Ice available. Bar on site. Swimming pool and kiddies jungle gym.

Very organised. Individual braai and washing up facilities at each campsite. Dome sites have individual ablutions.

The place is all you want for a overnight as well as for n few days. Just bring all you will require if you cater yourself.The restaurant is however superb.

Each camp site comes with a built in braai, wash up basin and work surface undercover. A bargain at the price.Our came with a view too!

Very beautiful lodge with very comfortable and spacious rooms and delicious food and meals. You gotta have the buffet braai here on every Wednesday which is delicious 😋. Dessert also included. Friendly staff and excellent service. Thanks JGT

Beautiful place to stay on way to Kgalagadi. Service good and staff friendly. Enjoyed the self drive wild drives.Visited again on 1/9. Only issue was the taps for the bath in the ladies section did not worked properly.

Nice atmosphere, kids friendly. The staff was very helpful and the food was divine. Their chalets are big and well looked after. The price is very reasonable.

Hiking trail is pretty sandy and animals are hard to come by. Pleasant place none the less

Rondawel stay was comfortable and everything was clean.It is situated well away from main road thus it is quiet at night. Security is good.Buffet dinner was out of this world delicious and not expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Great place, not only for the outdoorsy person. With its great camp sites, beautiful scenery and fantastic hiking trail there are also a fancy restaurant with the greatest food i ever had especially the all you can eat buffet 🤤

Loved staying at Red Sands Lodge. The Stuff was friendly and the food was outstanding. I would definitely visit the lodge when I am around the Northern Cape.

Was there with my caravan. Fantastic site with electricity and water available. Ablutions very clean and spacious. Definitely recommend this place to anyone and the price to book a caravan site is very reasonable indeed, cheap in fact.
