Came to enquire about paying the motor disc. Ive been waiting to get service on counter 19 and 20 ammd its been almost 45min without any service.. The person comea does something on the computer and leaves..Can they please take us seriously cause we also have errands to run.. And surprisingly its not even that full

Worst experience I’ve ever had in my life at any dltc. I passed my license test in January, I received no sms stating that it was ready. I went in August after seeing on the NATIS website that my license was ready for collection. The workers told me they lost it my license card and made me go through the entire process again. It’s October and I’m still waiting for my license. Absolutely terrible service. 10/10 would not recommend

I have been in the queue for more than 6 hours, even though I have made an appointment online.There was a queue on the outside of the premises and a second queue outside the building but on the premises.This may be the case only due to Covid-19.Toilet facilities inside, no soap (even though we in a pandemic atm) , no toilet paper, some cubicles dont lock.Booking forms do not state that printed photos are required for drivers license renewals. The staff know that this is missing but unfortunately no notice is given on the website to update the public.Apparently only black ink is allowed on the forms so dont use blue or any other colour ink.Bring your own stationery due to Covid-19.The facility itself is very clean and organized. Lovely building and great set up inside.No visible dustbins though.Only 2 Eye test counters are operating. This is why there is a backlog as practically everyone has to go there for the eye test and photo and finger prints.Lets hope the actual eye test and payment facilities go smoothly after this ling wait.

Staff were friendly. Facilities are great HOWEVER; if it takes 5 hours to move from bottleneck to bottleneck doing a simple drivers license renewal for whatever reason then there is a management problem.After reading reviews I was really positive and upbeat about trying here so booked an appointment and went. What a bitter disappointment. Such a pity.

All thou the electricity was off the staff was helpfully and I did not take long keepit like that brothers and sisters

Go early, be polite and courteous. You will have a good experience if you adhere to these two policies. Learners licences are now even easier with the improved computer based system in their exam room. And dont forget your pen. 😁👍

Had to confirm learners appointment for my daughter. Because theres no water we are told to cancel the bookings and look for other slots. What on earth is this, do they Know how long it takes to get an appointment. This really sucks

The staff is a bunch of wonderful and dedicated people who make the whole process of servicing you a wonderful experience. I have never got such service at a licensing dept before and trust me I have been to a few. I was so shocked even everyone who is coming there is well behaved. No one is shouting at you or being disrespectful if you ask a question. The building is nice and well kept even inside. I wish I could buy all of them lunch one day. Honestly never have I experienced such a nice flow of operations. Time was well managed. Didnt have to stay there the whole day. Unbelievable.

Today my husband went to renew his license. They told him they not doing any renewal and tempary licence. He is a driver at work and his booking was for today. They cant even give them a date when to come back. It is so unprofessional of them. They are saying there is no cashier. He need a tempary licence.

The facility is clean, proceedings are efficient and the staff is customer friendly.

The receptionists do not have patients with clients. Only 1 person who was trying his best to direct clients where to go. Employees at the checkpoint have no regard that clients have been sitting for long hours, they walk up and down without helping. If you do get assistance, they dont respect they answer their phones and stands up leaving you sitting without apologizing. Only 1 lady who was really of assistance who was working on point 12, she even try to multitask. I am not surprised that we as public servants are being labeled as lazy and incompetent. Where is our dignity as public servants to serve the public, batho Pele doesnt exist.

I waited for 3 hours just to come and pay for confirmation, they like strategy, mix people who are coming to write for learners license with those who are just there for confirmation of a booking. They dont even deserve a one star. Nxa

My second visit today (Wed) and service was excellent! Security officer asked if I am a pensioner (I am) and then took me to front of queue, got me signed in, checked to see all my papers were in order, took me to a seat at the counters where I was 2nd in line. Within minutes I was attended to by a guy who was fairly abrupt (maybe due to personal challenges?). Then sent me to cashiers. I pointed out the errors made by the guy who attended to me, and the lady happily rectified all and took my payment.I thanked her for her friendly assistance to which she responded with a big smile.So overall, it was a really pleasant experience, for which I was very grateful, and made my day!Thanks to all at Kagiso T&L! Well done!!

Hi the system that has been then the is bad I spent my money to come over and I had to walk from leratong rank to the department and now I lost my money for booking ,I lost my photos and I used my last school money to do all the bookings now I have to restart from the booking without writing the testWhy the system doesnt reserve the spot for the people writing from 8:00 to 10-00?Its hard to find slots from where I am now

Very very very poor and horrible experience, i went there to write a learners license, the traffic was so fast that you dont feel comfortable, i was writing code 8 but the questions were about heavy motor vehicle withno explanation about that, if you want to go Kagiso by yourself without any help from the driving school surely you will fail. Just wish that big nice building could given to other departmentt that need it its clean there security are nice buuuttt buuuut yooooo horrible

Good service from the staff

I arrived at the testing center on time and was able to to do my drivers license test just fine. I passed. Upon completion, I waited for the person who tested me. During this wait, one of the managers ( a male ) of the center approached me and asked me who I was waiting for. I told him and he proceeded to comment on my attire. The man told me that if he were to test me he would refuse to do so, due to my “inappropriate clothing” and that he wants to “change some policies” at the Kagiso DLTC . I was wearing ripped jeans, a top and sneakers. Like a normal teen. I proceeded to tell him that he has no policy, no signs, no indications or anything at all in/around the center regarding his “desired dress-code”. This is a licensing center provided by the government for the people of its country. Should policies need “to change” surely the right people with the power to do so, will make the changes in the best interests of the South African population and all genders. The world is facing a pandemic and South African society is plagued with GBV but management at this facility is more concerned about trivial things.

Iyooo, it was horrible, tiring, got there at 13:30 for a 14:50 appointment, left the place at 18:00. Theres no order, licence renewals are attended last, even though you have an eye cerficate. The delay is at the eye testing counters. Securities, screening ladies, cashiers and and the ones who straps the photos to our forms are friendly and doing their work excellently.Whats the point of a booking system if you wait for 4hrs to be served? Please review and better the service.

Pleasant experience. They require ID photos even though the website says it is not required. They could be better if they had a proper queue system for the eye test and for payment.

The most unhelpful, disorganized people working there. We do not know the layout of the building now we have to enter here and exit there, walk around a block to get back to the starting point. There is no pens available for public use and when you ask to borrow a pen, you get the angry eye. Poor, very poor

Terrible service, from the 2 ladies when you get in, those that give u the documents to fill. They are busy on the cellphones while youre talking and have the I dont care facial expressions. At the eye test section people are called without ticket numbers while u wait with your ticket and have booked, I guess they know people we dont. Right to the cashier, these people just look at u as if youre the guru of that testing center and youre supposed to know what to do by just them staring at u !

If all government institutions were as clean and run like this 1, we would go far as a country as far as service delivery is concerned. Helpful staff.
