Today was my first visit to Bernina Kloof and the ladies there are the most helpful and sincere souls Ive encountered whilst yarn shopping. They both went out of their way to find me the perfect yarn for what I was crocheting. Ive never had such a wonderful experience at a yarn store before and I will definitely continue purchasing from their beautiful store.

The Bernina and Nimble Fingers shops are together, and, together they pretty much offer the gamut of what anyone who is crafty and who enjoys working with textiles would require. Apart from the variety of threads (for everything from cross-stitch to tapestry) the shop also has a varieties of wools for crochet and knitting, quilting material, and, of course, an entire range of sewing and embroidery machines, as well as servicing services. However, what makes the shop always busy with shoppers is the fact that it is staffed with competent, experienced and enthusiastic fellow crafters who are able and willing to help. It caters not only to a niche in the community but in creates its own community.
