For our weekly game night, we decided to do something different and booked a table at JD5. It turned out to be a wonderful evening - we had ample space to play Rummicub, chat and enjoy the three course meal prepared for us (and the yummy welcome bread and butter was a nice touch). The food was delicious, and big enough portions not to leave you craving for more. Love the vibe, the personal touch and the sense of exclusivity you experience as JD5 provides an intimate atmosphere you will not experience at a bigger restaurant.

Best best place!!! Best food!! Very nice atmosphere! Amazing people who is willing to walk the extra mile for you!! They have the best vegetarian options!! Even if it is not on the menu, they will make a plan!! An amazingly delicious plan!! The food is also a lot of food. You definitely get value for your money! I highly recommend @JD5 to everybody!!

The place is off the centre and quite difficult to get to. The General ambience is homely. Had a 5 course set menu with drink pairing. The flow from starter to dessert was completely off. Cheese plate, lasagna, steak, bunny chow and then fondant. The choice of dishes and accompanying drinks was non cohesive and the portion size was questionable. We were quite full and unable to enjoy the food by end of 3rd course. Taste of food was average. For the price and advance booking situation, I expected way better.

The annoying is that you need to book a day before and if your group is less 10 people , they dont open

Homemade food with a gourmet level of quality. Everyday is a different special and booking is essential as this is not a traditionally run restaurant. Also you eat off of clean wax paper on the table instead of plates, which may not be for everyone.

Not child friendly. Parking can be tricky however they have done their best to try accommodate patrons. Not for the old or weak as there is a long flight of stairs to attempt to reach the dining area. Overall very mediocre.
