I dont do sewing and knitting and all that stuff, my wife is into that. I only go with my wife to the shop. I am always impressed with the variety and choices and array. It makes me dizzy watching the woman go through the racks until they find exactly what they are looking for.

Very wide veriaty of things

Staff very rude and unhelpful. Was hopeful when I first visited the shop that it would be something like Habby & Lace, but it isnt even close to their level. So disappointed with Essops, will not be going there again. Would rather travel the distance to Vereeniging for Habby & Lace than go to Essops again. At Essops it seems if you dont look rich you get poor service and the staff even ask you if you are sure you can pay a certain price for fabrics. Disgraceful.

You get most of the things you need for your sewing pleasure

Waited for an unreasonable time after we asked for assistance from one of the owners/managers. Just kept on working on his pc and had us wait. He tried without effort to call another assistant but didn’t bother when he found she was on lunch. I’m always very conservative with time as 30seconds feels like 5 minutes, but I’m sure this was close to 5 minutes that he had us standing in front of him looking how he types. After we received attention they didn’t stock all the variants of the rail so we left without any success.
