It was very peaceful except for the police who came to chase us away around 17:30. The people were sitting in groups and just enjoying their friends company 👍

The past means nothing... this was once a place of beauty and history and... now it is just a place for public drinking and youth peeing behind any tree and against any wall. It is sad.

This park has become somewhat of a youth representation of Kimberley .I dont know why the city doesnt maintain it .it was so beautiful 3 years ago

This used to be a very relaxing and beautiful place for family outings, but no more. Due to alcohol and drug consumption the place is messed up somewhat. Look out for muggers.

Shocking how the ANC municipality has neglected this once beautiful spot. Plastic bags, discarded paper bags and weeds are the new feature of the park. This goes for the whole Kimberley - beautiful museums and attractions like the Big Hole, Mcgreggor, Kimberley Club, Halfway House, Belgravia and the Humphreys excluded. Ive never seen so many potholes in my life. The ANC has inherited beautiful towns and cities and a 1st world infrastructure, but is clearly only interested in lining their own pockets.

Very dirty. Sol Plaatje municipality must find a solution to the pollution problem. People should be held accountable for leaving a public facility full of trash. Seems the municipality does not care.

What a dissapointment. Lawns not kept, litter everywhere, broken glass bottles.. people drinking and playing loud music. Fountain dirty and not working. Definately not a place to take your family and friends... Really feels unsafe
