I truly hope nobody has a loved one go to Lenmed ER. The ER patient with a life threatening condition instructed to go find own file before they willing to help them. This 1 hour 30 minutes after payment was made already did they start to help the patient. Thanks for the most expensive drip and lack luster medical attention.

Very unsatisfied with the service received by the hospital nursing staff as well as the security staff. Security is unfriendly and very rude. Unacceptable! The situation was reported to administration office, but issues were not resolved. Nurses take their time to attend to critical ill patients woth severe pain and suffering. This is unacceptable for a private hospital. It is worse then at a public sector hospital.

Service very poor, my Mother is admitted with heart issues the nurses take their own time to attend to her needs. I am so worried, just trusting God for my Mommy super natural healing. To think the hospital is just 4 years old its pathetic service for a private hospital

A rather delayed review, felt I need to display my anger and frustration. My sister was admitted on 2 separate occasions, 2 months a part. First time was for heart complications...why they advertise as a heart centre is beyond me, why they dont have resident doctors I dont know as you have to wait for days for a Cardiologist to see you or they transfer you to Bloem.Second time she was admitted she couldnt help herself and needed assistance....we found her laying in the same pyjamas for days until my sister decided to go give her a bath and change of clothes...so much for private care...They literally bled her medical aid dry and discharged her after almost a moth with noimprovement.A big up to Dr Slabert and De bruin.

Thank you for sharing your email address to my review. I have, however, emailed the CEO a month ago with my issue who failed to respond in a month so I consider the matter closed and will leave my one star for the hospital as is.

I would just like to thank Lenmed for taking care of my father (W Manuel) for the past three and a half years. It was really difficult for me, but every time you made it easier with every admission and doctors appointment. I would like to give a special thanks to Dr Mohammed Kolia YOU ARE THE BEST! 10 0ut of 10 for everything you did for my father. You really made us feel at ease and comfortable with every case and your kindness is really genuine. Stay the kind and friendly person you are Dr Kolia, it lifted our spirits. To the doctors and nursing staff at the Emergency room, Surgical Ward and Medical Unit and Dr Van Staden a BIG THANK YOU to you all. Dr Schoeman at the ER, thank you for your assistance on the night of 28/06/2021 for your great assistance, you helped the paramedics to stabilize my father and you helped with the transfer to mediclinic. I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. BUT unfortunately we lost my father the morning of 30/06/2021 at gariep mediclinic. I really miss him a lot. THANK YOU.

Today I had to report to the emergency room for a serious wound on the left lower side of my stomach. I was assisted with very helpful and caring staff that kept a light atmosphere when working on me, and although i was terribly shaken by the accident i just had, they managed to keep me calm with their positive friendliness. I want to say a really special thanks to Dr S. Janecke and her college that helped me, Lenmed can be very proud to have someone like you guys on their team. You are the reason Lenmed is called a good hospital :)

Just got woken this morning by a call saying my wife and little girl was in a accident. Drove all the way from kathu to be there for my family. I got to the hospital and found that I couldnt enter due to security officers refusing me to see my child becoz there are visiting hours. I just walked through and got shuffed by two guards. Management should make plan with this. The old man that tried his luck almost got a heart attack

My son was admitted at Lenmed Royal Hospital & Heart Centre in the pediatric ward and ICU. He received top class care, as parents we were taken care off and as parents we were treated with respect, our minds was put at ease. The hospital staff and doctors involved were very professional, timeous feedback received regarding the condition of my son, treatment plans was discussed and updated regularly.I will gladly return to this hospital as you are treated as part of a family and not just like a patient.Well done Royal Hospital and continue the good work at your facility!🏪

Friendly but expensiveNot enough staff especially nursing. The nursing staff has a great lack of expertise and experience. One has to question the word knowledge. The food is not bad for a hospital but very little.THE CAFETERIA IS EXTREMELY EXPENSIVEYou must have patience for every thing in this hospital.NOT PROFESSIONALNOT CARINGCANT RECOMMENDIts better than KH but has a very long way to get to Gariep.Gariep is still the best

My father was at this hospital the past week for the removal of a tumor. He was really disappointed in the nurses service. He had a drainage pipe in his head which disconnected during the night. He called for help, but the next morning they asked what he had done. He also asked for pain medication twice, not once did they respond.I think this Lenmed Royal Hospital is beautiful with A LOT of great potential regarding staff service and HR, but they sure have to do something about that.

The facilities are nice and clean. But the medical personal are so unprofessional. My father in law has been here for 6 days and saw the Dr only twice. He is a high risk heart patient and the nursing staff got his medication wrong and sometimes didnt even brought it to him. The are 16 patients in the ICU/CCU ward and only one toilet for all of them. And even the one wasnt even completed so the staff and the patients had to share. This is supposed to be a heart hospital but they dont even have a heart specialist. The family are so upset and we are not the only ones. People book the self out and rather go to Bloemfontein or even the state hospital.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a hospital. We were made to wait for over 3 hours to see a doctor with no update as to where he/she is.People were seen to be in pain but nothing was done.I really expected more from this hospital, my pain got even worse whilst queuing. I’ll never make a mistake of coming here again

Hello, my name is Morné Nel, my family of 5 were assisted today by the dental department of Lenmed at Kimberley. Well, since we phoned this morning 26 October 2018, the receptionist was so patient and so family like, she even phoned us back. When we arrived at Lenmed at Kimberley, the gate guard and the front door guard were so friendly and they assisted us to get to the correct department. This was our first time at Lenmed ever. NOW, I have enrolled us at AFFINITY HEALTH, and Lenmed dental department, welcomed us like as if we were clients for many years. Doctor Motlekar was so GOOD in treating and explaining each and every procedure. My girls were taken in by his friendly brotherly nature, that they could not wait to be the next on the chair. I just want to thank them, and I hope that they will now how much there nature ment to us as a family. We are not used to this at all. This was so AWESOME. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME.... thank you very much: morné, samantha, sarah-leigh, dnita and elma. Jan Kempdorp...

Lenmed is the worst hospital Ive ever been to. I will never ever use their facilities. This was my third experience at this hospital and each experience is worse than the other. On my first visit to the ER when my son was ill the bedding and the toilet were dirty, I brought it to the nurses attention amd refused to use the facilities until the toilet and bed was cleaned. The nurse collected my sons urine using a rusty metal pot, when I asked for the normal plastic test sample container, he didnt know what I was talking about. On my second visit, the doctor didnt even check to see if my asthmatic daughter was ill. He just asked me if I wanted him to admit her. As a professional I expected the doctor to know better. She wasnt admitted and on the next day (this past Saturday) my daughter fell ill and I took her to the hospital. I arrived at the ER at 15:00, the place wasnt even busy but the doctor only saw my daughter at 18:00. The unprofessional spent most of his time attending to personal phone calls instead of attending to patients. The nurses are just as useless as the doctors.IF YOU WANT VALUE AND QUALITY DO NOT USE LENMED HOSPITAL!!! JUST STICK TO GARIEP MEDI CLINIC DO NOT EXPERIMENT!!!

Not even a heart specialist. My mother was at high risk of a cardiac arrest and yet she was moved out of the ICU into a normal ward and passed away less than two hours later. WHY? negligence!!!!!!!. How can you take a high risk patient out of the ICU that is still complaining of chest pain!!!!!!!!! Pathetic service!!!!!. I would rather die at home then go there. Just the sight of that hospital makes me sick!!

Worst service ... if one can call it a service I have ever had as a person..we were referred to the emergency unit by a doctor, we waited more than 2 hours to see a Doctor..The doctor to service I had to try as a parent base to talk to let my child be admitted to see that we live 70km outside Kimberley.after another hour of waiting we were taken to pediatrics..there Johy saw after how long the pediatrician .. which then prescribes a drip..the drip has already been put up at the bottom of the Emergency Unit but with no fluids..after how many hours is the drip then connected to fluids, the drip is not made as nice as at other hospitals so that a child of 5 can not take it out, my child then took out his drip himself..drip is then stopped again..after a long wait my child comes to fetch and the other hand is used to insert the drip..where he then started getting fluids and antibiotics again, then stopped crying his hand hurt when I looked again his wrist and hand were doubly swollen..I let the s come uster to which she responds and says the drip is through his tissue ... after a long wait I am told the doctor is going to insert a new drip himself..and so I wait and wait and the poor child sits with that drip and pain..then the sister comes again and says the doctor says the drip can come off she will come in tomorrow if necessary another drip will come in (Saturday) .. they then take the drip off (in my opinion this is why we here is that my child can take fluids) His fever is not taken through the night I as a mother have to call the staff to come and see it. The hospitals heater is set at 25 degrees ... by the hospital staff, what germs hatch at 25 degrees is not everything !! I really would not recommend the hospital!

I am currently in the hospital and am shocked by this poor service. The hospital is nice and clean but thats where it stops. Nothing in my room works and some of the nurses I deal with are nothing but unprofessional. So hoped the hospital was going to be better than we had and now it seems to me that what we had is so much better than LenMed Kimberley. I am very disappointed.
