For me and my family its always a pleasure shopping at Vermeulens, they have everything you need for gardening, tiling, woodwork, bedrooms, bathrooms and so much more.Even though this store can get very busy, they have a large team of staff available to assist you at every corner in every department and quite a few cashiers, which makes checkout much more efficient.Furthermore, it is very seldom that they do not have something in stock, which is a big plus for me.You guys are doing a great job!

In entering the store you are met by friendly staff. You cant get lost in the store as there are staff to direct you to what you need. They even take you physically to the place you need to be. Parking attendants are helpful.

They are so busy to really pay attention to their customers. Today I also experienced a very rude employer. Theres nobody to help you find anything in the ailes till you eventually track someone down and then his or her knowledge is very dicey. I am very disappointed in Vermeulens .

Poor service this morning from an employee named Isaac...Stood behind the counter, had to be asked by me very harshly to come around and show us samples of what we are looking for. We are not builders, we do not know the correct terms for building material we need , we do not have a hardware in our back yard..., thats why we come to Vermeulens!!!!. When we asked about delivery, he was so unhelpful, tried calling another employee with again no Zest.... No matter how big or small tbe quantity of an item we need, good, friendly customer service means please come back, we value your support....clearly this morning Isaac was not up to Good customer service. My opinion is that Isaac is not happy at work today, doing what hes getting paid to do....but dont stress, we just took the smaller items we needed, the bigger ones we can go to another store even if it costs more....good customer service to me, says alot...

Very well stocked but staff could be more helpful, they have most of what the average handyman or DIY guy needs but store layout is a bit confusing and hard to find stuff unless the staff assist which they always seem busy or preoccupied but all round a decent experience if you need building material.

Took forever to exchange a window pane they sold me that was the wrong size... For a window frame they sold me at the same time.Loss of cohesion between yard and sales necessitating me to visit 3 separate times. Definite room for improvement.
