Nice service, nice food. I had the chicken schnitzel with cheese sauce and prawn topping, and it was actually very tasty, it just needed to drain a bit more after cooking as there was a little too much oil on the plate. The vanilla milkshake was awesome. So yes a nice, if typical Spur experience. Good value.

Starters were fine. Main meal, 350g tbone steak, chips and onion rings had curly Hair in it...the manager hardly apologized, didnt acknowledge the severity of the matter, had a never minded attitude said he wouldnt charge for it. Bill came, waitress charged the full price, had to revert back to the manager. Terrible customer service.

Very disappointing experience. Visited the Spur for the second time while staying at the Garden Court Hotel.On my first visit, the staff were rowdy and create a very unpleasant atmosphere for the patrons still inside. Our waitress on our first visit was unfriendly and we waited for over 10 minutes for our order to be taken.On my second visit, I sent my steak back 4 times .. the waitress Cole who served us was so accommodating and still served us with a smile on hia face after having been sent back 3 times, after the 4th time I asked for the manager. I explained to the manager that the moment the plate was returned the first time he should have come and checked in..but he didnt and we were only 2 customers in the restaurant ..I explained to him that whilst I was sending my plate back the staff were very verbal about their feelings of me sending my plate back .. which is totally unprofessional..I basically had to explain to him how to prepare my medium rare steak..After being in Spur for nearly 2 hours.. my steak was finally prepared the way I wanted it.Very disappointing as I came all.the way from CPT ..A tip to the manager on duty would have been to offer my meal on the house as a steak that should have been done right the first place..

I stayed in the hotel the food came to my room 1h30 later, the bun was dry which indicated my food was ready the whole time without them delivering .To top it all I ordered a cheese burger and there was no cheese i even took a picture of that burger. I am disappointed with the food and service here

When I visit Kimberley I stop here for lunch. Parking is very limited. Very safe and secure. They followed covid protocols to the teeth. Waiters friendly and helpful. Food not the greatest. Very standard. Service not bad. We messed with our baby boy they cleaned up very quickly. To my surprise they never complained to the noise baby made. This place can get busy. There are always people in and out.

No smoking section. Dirty glasses and a very below average experience.

We had to get our own menus and seat ourselves. We havent been asked if we want anything else to drink after our first coffee. After waiting 50 minutes I was spoiled with a dry, ice cold cheeseburger and the chips and onion rings were just as cold. Dont know if its a local thing but people who came in after us were served before us...

Terrible..... food was cold after a long wait for our food to be served. Waiters dropped plates, glasses, cutlery on FOUR occassions during our time spent at this Spur. Not a good experience seriously!! (our waitress was however good!)

Yes it was actually my first dining out since March 2020.The fear is still there and the empty chairs suggest that theres no room for complacency. I had goid service and service was great. Thank for your effort and making me feel good

We ordered veggie schnitzels. The waitress later told us that they do not have enough veggie schnitzels to make 2 full portions and that 1 person will only have half a portion. When we paid for our meal we had to pay full price for half a portion.

The staff are always friendly and welcoming. They work together so well it is almost like their movements were choreographed. The food is flame grilled to perfection and the atmosphere is enjoyable. It is a place where you can read a book, bring your kids or just hangout with some friends!

Dissapointing visit at spur today. Rump on the bone special, tough meat, served cold and spicey wings were sour. Chips & onion rings were good. Waffle was under-cooked. Do yourself a favour and avoid their specials and waffles. Elderly gentleman with the Grey hair needs to stay out of the kitchen if he isnt going to wear a hair net. Our waiter was very attentive.

Was hoping to have a good meal and relax at the Spur, Garden Court after a long drive from Springbok to Kimberley. I asked the manager, Joanna to please call my waiter as the waffle that I ordered was over cooked to a crisp, she looked at me and said what and just walked away. Very disappointed with the attitude and how extremely rude and pathetic she behaved.

Well its an interesting, a well situated Restaurant mixed with The Court hotel where at most the place is always busy!, it only sucks you can wait 30mins plus on an order even if its lite like burger!Though overall Its Awesome!!!

I was blown away with how clean this Spur was. Sometimes they smell slightly greasy and occasionally look a bit grubby; not this one. Very smart! The waitress was lovely and tried hard but she needed to be more meticulous about orders and bills. The manageress did not greet - odd that was. The food was excellent.

Spur is always a good choice. Mohawk one of the very few with a Sunday lunch buffet (and still offer a senior citizen special rate on it). Excellent food, variety of dishes, fast and friendly staff! Not so great on the veggy and salad sides, but DONT miss the sticky toffee pudding with cream and toppings.

The waitress (Tshepiso) was very attentive & hands on. Great service, excellent meal. Had a good time.

We visited this establishment on a very hot, quiet and slow Friday noon.

Food was good but best part is that the waitress ran after me to my car after I left my cellphone on the table! Incredible!

Non-existent service; waiting for ages for orders to be served (two evenings in a row for an hour to two hours for a table of ten)!! And basic orders gotten wrong. Not to even mention the fact that there was not a single lemon slice available on request!!

Mohawk spur has really lost its touch.The waffle I had was extremely stiff and the virgin strawberry daiquiri tasted like very bad koolaid.It clear they have become money oriented and drifted from the family restaurant it always was.

I stopped over with the kids on my way back to Bloemfontein. The kids enjoyed the play area. The food was excellent with average staff service

I have experianced far better Spur meals in SA and Namibia. Food was cold and service virtually non existant, parking scarce.

We stopped over on our way to Kgalagadi. They have a lovely kids area outdoors and service was quick.
