I went to the little shop attached to the SPCA. Books and other little items available at very reasonable costs.Supporting the SPCA also helps with running costs.Just check their opening hours and go support, maybe even adopt a pet while youre there.Friendly and kind people around. :)
If and when you think or feel in need of a friend visit this place... donations welcome even if its only a bag of 🐈 or 🐕 food or some straws or carrots🥕 for the 🐎 or 🐇
Worth a visit. Cute little charity shop
Disappointed, felt very disheartened by the lack of interest from the staff. We were wanting to adopt 2 dogs and were told the out of town home inspector is away for 2 weeks so we will just have to see if they can get someone else to come out. In other words the poor dogs will have to sit there for 2 weeks until they can get someone to come and inspect my property.Generally rescues are more interested in getting the dogs out into a loving home as quick as possible, you would have thought an alternative plan would have been in place for this situation!
They do good work. The charity shop is small but filled with treasures at great prices, worth the visit
Hi. Thankyou Spca staff for your help. All the stars belong to you for your friendly service and work.
Very traumatic to see the number of animals that have been neglected and abusedand are in urgent need of adoption.
They dont want you to adopt a pet
Great lityle thrift shop. Please support their efforts to raise much needed income.
A very affable and social place, remembering that they dedicate their time and effort to make the animals safe and secure. An ideal place for the animals as it is wide and open with lots of greenery
They do their best. Wish the dogs could have better facilities
How long does it take to pick up a puppy who does not have the time to wait because he is very weak.....come on please I made the call this morning at about 09h50 and i am still waiting, the SPCA closes at 12h00 and opens at 13h00 again and that i feel is unnecessarily to long and to late to wait.....Kimberley
Visitor to the area, called to report a horse in a distressed situation on the road and was told they dont deal with horses. I was given another number for another man. Surely if you call one place they must handle their own logistics. You either stand for animals or you dont.
Difficult to find but ok
We took the trouble to help a dog to find a home. Went through all the motions, chose a young small dog as a friend for our big farm dog. Inspector visited our home and huge farm garden/yard. Was happy but expected us to drive 260 km round trip to find out if we bond with the new dog!!!!! How desperate is the SPCA to help a dogie to get out of its cage and find freedom on a farm, good care and a friend of his own kind.??
Friendly and helpful staff...the inspector Mario will always go the extra mile for animals.
Doing a good job
People with the most beautiful souls always willing to help !!! Never gets enough Recognition for their work God bless yiu all🙏🙏🙏🙏
They are hated and criticized by many, and very rarely get any recognition for the selfless work they do every day. They are faced with the most horrific cases of animal neglect and abuse imaginable, yet they continue to get up every morning, put on their uniforms and hope that today would bring some joy and less horror. I salute you Kimberley SPCA!
A blessing to our community
