First time at this restaurant today and the last!We got there around 3h40 and our orders where taken. Pretty soon the staff members started packing tables and chairs loudly, they where dragging the chairs and pushing the tables and literally stacked them right infront on us as we sat and tried to enjoy our meal. I was so disturbed because it was clear that they were about to close but you always respect customers when they still trying to enjoy their meal. The kitchen staff also started running around with the writers and they where roundy and just inconsiderate of us. The lady who served us and the older gentleman also proceeded to press their phones and play music through them. My goodness this was a horrible experience!!!

Nice place, great scenery and location. Went here for Breakfast yesterday. Disappointing - ordered the Classique breakfast, they brought it to me on a cold plate so the eggs were already cold, the toast was only toasted on one side.,...... not what I hoped for. The separate Bar on the other hand, is great.

This was the best place to go for breakfast but now since the reopening it is shocking. If you like cold food and cold coffee this is the place for you. The proper original Goodies Breakfast died with the revamp and dont dare to ask for a Cafe Mocha. So sad, now its overpriced and not worth the effort. I rather support local restaurants that think of the paying customer first.

Pub on the one side, tea garden on the other and a childrens playground. Is this placed still called goodies for gardens? Think it is good for gardens, great place for meetngs, lunches, catch-up with friends or just to go to have a quite and relaxing break-away from everyone or everything. Oh yes, and a few nice little craft etc shops

I dont know where to begin on how shocking the breakfast was. No idea what a cappuccino is. The eggs benedict was served on a hanburger roll, not a properly poached egg and that sauce was defenitely not hollandaise. R110 FOR THE EGGS BENEDICT!! rather take your money elsewhere

I visited Bro Zone Barber, and Adel is the most amazing barber Ive had the pleasure of doing business with in ages.Ill definitely visit him again, and send all my friends there as well

Restaurant is being renovated. Thai Spa is 5 star. Highly recommended. Price is now R200 per 30 min. And take cash.

Lovely pub. Nice for a quick drink, snack or full meal. Pizzas was devinely tasty and freshly baked. Adequite menu and some beers on tap.Bar stools and tables.Play area for kids and even some Putt-Putt.5 Stars would need all beer in stock and a barman paying less attention to the TV.

Lovely for family outings. Lots of entertainment to keep the kids busy while you are relaxing and enjoying a tasty meal.

Great combination with Nursery, small businesses & restaurant. Waiting for the restaurant to re-open soon.

For such a lovely setting I was expecting a much better experience in food, however, despite prices that are on the slightly higher side, there was much left to be desired. The fruit juice is not in fact pure fruit juice, but instead a concentrate blend. The schnitzel and veggies had ants in the pumpkin and the cheese sauce had a strange banana type taste to it. After complaining about this, the juice and schnitzel were removed from the bill. The pizza however was very nice, so I would suggest that from the menu, which seems to have too many options available. The staff were friendly.

This is a cool little getaway hard to describe. The have a nice play area for the kids. Nice scenery great nursery. A nice sports bar and restaurant , all that’s missing is a little movie house and no1 would leave this place

Fantastic breakfasts, make sure to ask for crispy chips. Gets really busy at month end as there can be a lot of functions booking up the place. Place could do with a bit of an upkeep but thats not to say there is anything wrong in its current standing - just personal preference. Location of the restaurant does make one feel like theyre not in the midst of a city.

Mbali and I went for foot massages at Cesson Thai Massage parlour. This was amazing.We then went to Goodies for a delicious breakfast. We were seated outside and we were surrounded by nature and graced with the presence of a friendly peacock family. 😍

Food is good. Casual place to enjoy a meal drinks and bring the children. Small catchment area polluted, and depending on which way wind blowing does smell. Choose seating away from downward wind. Otherwise service good, meal good value for money and Id go again for a winter afternoon with the sun on your back and a tasty meal. There is an indoor restaurant too. There is entertainment for the kids, like a jungle gym, putt putt, etc.

What a wonderful escape in the middle of Kempton Park. The layout is very convenient and they have a full restaurant on premises. The quality of the flowers are adequate and the staff are eager to assist. Reasonably priced

Attended a baby shower. Very good service and the platters were beautifully made and well presented. Will definitely make a turn with hubby.

I have a little Holistic Stuff shop inside. Its an awesome place.

So we had our baby shower here on the 04 May 2019. The owner knew about it for +- 2 months....I was absolutely disgusted with what services we received...we had booked for 100 people and got three waiters and let me say that the waiters where shocking and didnt clean up the place once people where done with there drinks or food - poor service!and terrible planning! We booked 13 platters....food was dry as if had been made two days before. Clive if this is how you treat clients who spent a small fortune there then you are in the wrong business. Let me not even mention the toilet which need to be over hauled with immediate effect! Shocking! The reason why Im giving you one star is cause I can not give you no stars because that is what you would have gotten...you need to up your game or sell your business make a choice! Please do not waste your money at this place because you will be totally dissatisfied with the outcome.

Great from Jan to Oct, avoid the restaurant during Dec, too few staff or poorly managed staff, whilst year end functions take priority over other clients.Waited 40min for tea and a beer, we left 1 hour later as our waiter disappeared - we had lunch elsewhere.

Goodies Restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat. Its a beautiful place too. I always feel at home there.

Service is always good, food is amazing, and the crowd is great too. Awesome atmosphere. Plus some great goodies for your garden! Definitely a good option for lunch on a Sunday or a few beers while watching the game.

Not the very best service, waited an Hour for out breakfast only to find out the waiters didnt send the order to the kitchen, Manager apologised but when he delivered the food his hand was so dirty (nails) looks like hes been working in the Garden. Some attention to detail needed !!

The pub has absolutely no service. The bar lady thinks shes doing you, the customer a favour by her rude demeanour. This place sure as hell will never see me again.

Not too happy with the service we received... First they ran out of 300ml Coke cans and then have the audacity to charge the same price of R21.00 for a 200ml can. Then at the end they ran out of clean cups when it came to order coffee at the end of the meal. Waiter also kept on using the excuse of Yes, but the manager doesnt like it or the manager doesnt allow us to do it this or that way. Seemed to us like the manager doesnt like what he does so why even bother?

We waited very long for our food. When the meals were served, there was no cutlery. Our food got cold while waiting for cutlery. I ordered a medium to well serlion, but I got a raw steak. We wont support them again.

Kids party moved inside as it rained, noise was horrific, the manager should have asked the parents to quieten them down as they were not being supervised making it unpleasant for everyone else. Our waiter was really good though.
