Visited this Indian restaurant several times and they didn’t disappoint at all. They make great Indian food.The whole feel and experience of the restaurant made me feel like I was back in India. The spices and flavors of the food were just like it was in India.I enjoyed the food and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Haandi Glen baled mall. Been ordering from you for 5 years. Last month we ordered a korma and butterchicken. Korma had 5 pieces of chicken and butterchicken 4. Korma had no flavour what so ever. Tasted like milky water. We complained via mr d and got 40zar refund for 300zar meal. One bad meal...it happens I still had faith until today. Ordered 2 butter naans with no butter on them just dry bread. Cheese naan has butter on so you do have butter. Ordered a tandoor chicken...yes it can be a bit dry thats normal but we cannot eat this you burnt 1/3 of a chicken. I have had your kalimirch curry many many times this little tupperwate tub is not it. It should be spicy almost pasty this tasted like a curry from a can with 6 little chicken pieces floating in it.

I once ordered food from this place before a while back and I enjoyed it so today I wanted my bf to try and we got two lamb Currys.. Im sorry to say but Im so disappointed..There is just 5 meat in the curry, He ordered hot and I ordered mild but I dont taste the heat just spice on his and everything just bluh😔This is so sad that we cant even finish our food and there is so much soup floating here...I feel like crying honestly..

Has the best Paneer Vindaloo in town, always reliable, many excellent Vegetarian options, and pleasant ambience, respectaber staff, and competent service.My regular indian cuisine take-out option.

Been coming here for years and its always been top notch service.Today we ordered 2 butter chicken and got something that sort of resembled a butter chicken but not really. Was also short one tub of rice (granted we shouldve checked).Sad to see how the quality has disintegrated since the leaving of the previous owner

Really obsessed! The food is incredible and the atmosphere always welcoming. I cannot pass this restaurant when in town without stopping for lunch or dinner. The portions are very generous.

I would like to apologize for a review I made on this business. Turns out the Haandi restaurant that served me food that led to food poisoning is not the same one as this one and they are not the same company. However I have not tried This Haandis food, but will be trying them soon after recovery....Beware of the Haandi restaurant in Elgin mall. Its not the same business.

Food was not good and naan was re-heated and very dry.

Since the new management, they are stingy with the meat. They give a bowl of sauce with 5 small pieces of meat.

The food here is actually quite tasty. I have tried a different vegetarian dishes and I was never disappointed. Might be a bit pricey, but totally worth it.

What a colossal disappointment to Indian Cuisine.Mutton bunny: Meat was hard and potatoes not cooked. The curry was not of the correct type to place in a bunny, a more Durban-style curry is the only type that can make a bunny work.Lamb Korma: Such a sour taste, I might as well have eaten a lemon.Your Pricing strategy also needs refining.Your saving grace is the friendly staff and Roti.Hope you can improve for my next visit...

Authentic Indian cuisine, excellent service, the owner takes time to converse and know his customers. The food is amazing , aromatic, flavorful, and you can decide how spicy you want the food to be. I reccomend hot as it wasnt super hot and you still got all of the flavour. Their vegetarian dishes are amazing and gets you tasting what the other dishes will be like. Colorful and well plated. Vibrant and a good place for a small party to be held at, bookings can be taken. If you feel the hunger for Indian, then I would say you most certainly wont be disappointed with this restaurant

Haandi is probably the best restaurant to visit when in the mood for North Indian cuisine and delights.The food on offer is of a wide variety and all the meals are prepared with the greatest effort and passion.It would be a difficult task to to find an equivalent restaurant matching the value, service and taste on offer at Haandi.Above all, the service is always impeccable. Each guest is always treated like royalty.Haandi is definetely the place to go to. Go add some spice to your life.

The butter chicken is a tiny portion for R118. Just not value for your money. Rotis are better value but it is generally very expensive as a takeaway.

The food was amazing, and the curry comes in bowls separate from the rice, so its perfect to order a few different ones and share between friends. The prices arent bad and the restaurant itself is cosy and inviting. The waiter was so funny, joking with us and engaging in conversation.

A month ago I went shopping at the near by pick and pay. I decided to place an order at Haandi as I did not feel like cooking that evening. The place is clean and presentable, I placed an order for collection after I finished shopping, picked it up and being so hungry I started nibbling on a naan as I was driving home. Excellent quality naan was then dipped into an awesome chicken Korma. I went back yesterday and placed a family order, once again all was good. I enjoy Indian cuisine and am regularly disappointed with poor quality rubbish masquerading as food. Haandi is an exception and exponentially the best Indian food in the Kempton Park area.
