Great place. Course was in very good condition. Much improved from my last visit. Excellent halfway house great food. Bar was awesome...Will be back.

I really enjoyed playing at this course. Its definitely best described as the dog leg course! The course is challenging but forgiving at the same time. I really liked the amount of water on the course and has great bird life. At this price definitely one of the best course in the area

Good priced golf. Dont play by yourself, its kind of unsafe as the boundaries lead right onto main roads around Kempton. If youre playing with people youll be fine.

Worst course in Gauteng.Booked for a 12:00 tee time could only start at 13:00 due to backlog of groups.Pro shop absolutely useless.7 greens are under construction so 7 greens were actually fairways.No directions from hole to hole so you have no idea where to drive to.At the first par three there was a nude man washing his clothes in the pond.Absolutely pathetic experience would not recommend kempton park to ANYONE.

GC busy repairing greens. I can see they working hard to do the repairs. Unfortunately not easy to put on the temp greens. Challenging course, lot of dog legs. Will visit again when greens are repaired.

The club has a good and well look after driving coarse, canteen for food and drinks are available as well.

Course in a a state of serious neglect. This is a course that used to be in the top 💯, a championship course and a home to most preQs. I wish the council would do something 😡😡

Use to love playing kempton Park golf club. But to be honest,lately its just a waist. Very expensive,and the greens are in horrible condition. Not worth the money anymore.

Course needs a bit of work, the fairways are okay.. The greens are in serious need of attention. The catering has improved I can see there is a effort to improve the club.

Considering the time of the year it is, 11 August 2019, Kempton Park, the House of Ernie, the course is holding up well. Nice to see they are renovating some of the tee boxes. Great challenging course second 9 takes a while to start but once you are there its all forgotten.

Really fun good value golf course if youre looking for a relaxing game. The golf course Ernie Els grew up playing. New Tee boxes were in the process of being built, otherwise in relatively good condition.

Kempton used to be a proper course.Today was terrible!I know there has been no rain but the course was in shocking condition.Greens good but the rest horrible.Will not be back

Its been a Long while since i played here in Hopes that they have hired new Catering staff, However much to my Disappointment they have not.The Course is nice and very Fun to play, However the Food is really not one of the best.

Had a lovely sports day with children.. have been many times for cricket and other sports caters for everyone young and old

Great place to have a game of golf. Friday is pitch and play thats really convenient if you have a schedule that changes quickly. Course is in great condition and facilities are well maintained

Country club was lite

A very popular choice for year end functions. Food is very good and the service is excellent. I really enjoyed the evening there. This place has my recommendation.

Greens are repaired, very firm. Still a tricky layout which is fun & testing. Skip halfway if you can & bring your own meal, horrible service.

This is not the MOST beautiful course or the most exclusive club in SA but what makes it great is the character it has.The staff are friendly, people there are down to earth and overall its very well kept. Remember on a tuesday they are closed. The Pro shop staff/owners are extremely knowledgeable and pleasant.

So the cleaner stole my cash out of my wallet that was in my closed bag while is was in the shower. Reported it with no action. Lots of other golf courses still with integrity to not play here ever again

Value for money food and drinks. Child friendly. Great vibe on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday afternoons and evenings. Friendly staff and management.

Great golf course been there now for 2 weeks in a row. Only play 9 holes, but you get a great looking course and very nice greens for R70. Really great value for money

The course is really well designed and is a nice challenge. I am however, somewhat disappointed in the ground staff. I played at the course in Monday the 23rd of September and the guys watering the greens found it amusing to spray our golf balls when we hit them onto the greens. They also created pools of water which made it difficult to putt. It would have been acceptable if they hadnt raced to the next green just to repeat this process for 3 holes in a row.The safety factor on the course is also non existent which means number 1, you have to check over your shoulder all the time and number 2 you have individuals collecting balls on the course while in play. We had two occasions where our golf balls were picked up.I am hopeful that they will address these issues soon as we will not be able to support them if changes arent made soon.

Great old course offering golfers a good challenge. Winter has made fairways a bit dry, but greens are in excellent condition.Good halfway house meals. Friendly and helpful staff.

Not very good service, you order a beer from waiters and have to get your own glass. Then drop of a bottle of wine without any wine glasses.Make the place self service, it might be better

Please revamp this golf course, it looks Im driving into a grave yard. Theres so many things that are wrong with course. Your security measures are lacking, we didnt feel safe on the back nine because there is no fence. Golfers can get mugged.

Golf course is tricky and challenging. The course can be in a better condition though. Greens not too bad. Greenfees on Sunday are good. R100.Club facilities is run down and unmaintained. No toilet paper in the mens locker room. Pro shop is empty and slow. Half way house staff is unfriendly and slow slow slow. Halfway house is SUPER expensive. One beef burger without chips is R40. WHAT!!!. A small breakfast, 2 eggs, one piece of cold toast and a little sliver of bacon for R40. Not Cool Kempton.

Always nice place to visit if you need to experience mother nature.I do not play. Just tag along. According to golfers it is a good course. Just bit over priced.

Went to the Kempton Park Golf Club for a function hosted by the SPCA, the venue gives this historic vibe which is a relaxing vibe, the food is also well prepared and served, not sure if the place is open to the public but will go there again if tge opportunity arises.

Nice clubhouse. Gold course fair. Nor bad for a round of golf at a reasonable price.

I use to play this course a lot but lately only visit occasionally. The course is still in a fair condition but the buildings need attention. Green fees are very reasonable.

The greens have bunkers on them....LOL ! , a cheap challenging round , wish they could take better care of their greens

Challenging course pity about not collecting the cut grass spoils the course. Driving to the course from the sport facility is disappointing so much rubbish and litter . Otherwise good course at a good price .

Great Sunday golf

Greens are terrible, cracked and very dry. Greens were being watered by hand during play in the morning as well as being cut. Greens have patches with NO grass! This made putting impossible, bad management. No distance markers on Tee boxes. Pitch and play applied plenty shot gun starts all over the course affecting times, bad management. Over all not a great experience!

Beautiful golf course with everything in place. Maintenance needs attention.

The course is not well maintained, half way house and general look really dissapointing.

I recently played there on 25th February 2018. Greens are in a SHOCKING condition. Management and proshop staff are arrogant and I had clothing stolen by their own staff whilst I was in the shower. Never go there again.
