Had the worst experience today. Was at Intercare on 19th of Jan. Have not heard a word from them for 7 F..n months. Today received a call from an attorney that my account has been handed over and I have to pay R990 TODAY or I will be black listed. No word from Intercare in 7 months.😡😡😡Went to the branch and had to pay the money even though I am on Discovery medical aid. Freaken unacceptable service. Will never ever use or recommend them again

Great service at all times, love the online booking system. The doctors are professional and offers a full all services in 1 place extremely convenient. Dentists, GP, occupational health, lancet lab. I have never been disappointed at all. My favorite docs rooms

Extremely disappointed that I have to pay for the Intercare Glen Maraiss PPE usage, as a result of COVID. I think this is absolutely disgusting! Discovery does not cover it, why should I. The practice should pick up the cost !!!

This Health Care has got the bad service ever. I went there 3 weeks back to see a doctor for a referal to go see a specialist as im diabetec and also had severe paind in my hands and palm, the doctor was very impatient, he didnt even touch me to see and understand where the pain was. They told me that they will send my referal letter to the medical aid but even today that referal letter was not sent to the medical aid until I had to call in this morning.I called in the lady called adaag said they have sent it this morning, they couldnt even bother to worry that this letter was not sent for 3weeks while I needed to go see a specialist.I asked the lady so who is responsible and accountable for this then she said shes not the one to be blamed. just like that. No action taken to feel that they are trying to make it up to this. No one is held accountable for neglegents, No one is responsible!!!!THE DOCTOR WHO SOW ME WAS DR Ntsako bad bad bad doctor ever!!!!!! PEOPLE THIS HEALTH CARE IS BAD!!!!!!!

Megan at Reception supplied Discovery health with incorrect information. Ive been to this practice once 1 year ago when I hurt my arm. Dr spies is my partners doctor therefore he is a doctor on our medical aid records.Discovery health contacted this practise for a PMA and was informed by Megan that I have a pre existing condition which was diagnosed by Dr Reddy.Ive never been to Doctor Reddy. I have my own Doctor at Medicross Birchleigh.

Worst experience ever! My dad waited for 2hours with an open wound. He felt lightheaded but wouldnt let him lie down, and never got the water he asked for. When he was finally helped, the nurse didnt know where the bandages were, or what betadine looks like! And she wanted to put mucurochrome on the wound! Absolutely pathetic!

The worst experience I have ever had!!! My son has been to intercare 4 times in the same week all docters treated him for either a cough or cold by the end of the week by son had to get admitted for rsv and bronco pneumonia which I had to go to a different practice altogether to find out that my child was going into distress. Absolutely pathetic service incompetent docters..would rate less than a star if I had an option!! Intercare you have failed!

Im not even sure where to begin re Intercare. Im pretty sure the doctors/dentists are great, BUT the receptionists have failed......Ive tried getting an appointment for my husband to see a dentist as hes in agony. Although I appreciate the fact that all is by appointment only surely theres a human element with regards to emergencies?Not even a Ill call you when we have a cancellation,......... Lost another potential patient.Also, I asked last year for a quote for a mouthpiece. I called 3x, went there 2x, still waiting for an answer...... Not good, really :(

My Fiancée had to undergo a medical assessment to be able to be added to my Medical Aid as a dependent. Discovery then sent us the necessary paperwork which we in turn forwarded to Intercare Glen Marais. Intercare assured us that they can do the necessary assessments and then claim the amount for the assessment back from Discovery.She then completed the assessment during January 2018. After the assessment was completed, Discovery informed me that they have not yet received the documents. To my surprise I learnt that Intercare refused to send the documents because the amount was not yet settled. I then discovered that Intercare charges more for the medical assessment than what Discovery was willing to pay. Already a let down on Intercare’s side as the amount Discovery was willing to pay was on the paperwork we submitted to them.I then offered to pay the difference and then Intercare would claim the rest from Discovery, to which Intercare replied “don’t worry about it...”, “we’ll sort it out with Discovery”. Only after this whole dabacle did they release the results to Discovery.Then in June 2018, five months after the assessment, my Fiancée was contacted by Intercare and was told that we owe them the full amount for the assessment. I then sent them an email with all the details. To which they swiftly replied “We are looking into the matter...”, “The account will be settled by Discovery”. I was then relieved but still wary. A week later I sent an email again to follow up on the matter to which I got no reply. Then my Fiancée got a sms that we still owe Intercare money. I then sent an email again to Intercare Glen Marais (this time including Intercare Head Office) with a screenshot of the sms and asked if I can get some feedback. Lo and behold, another week has passed without any feedback.How useless have you got to be to not be able to claim from medical aid and only catch a wake up five months later? To get no feedback whatsoever is also really frustrating.Assure the customer with false promises just to get them hooked and then not being able to follow through is really in poor taste.I hope to get an answer now on this matter.

We had a terrible experience at Intercare in Kempton Park. The receptionist was extremely rude as my friend had an amount oustanding on her account and refused her treatment until this amount had been settled in full even though she is an elderly pensioner and was very ill.The doctor who treated her was just as rude and uncaring.My friend who keep in mind is an elderly pensioner without transport went back to the doctor again the next day (Wednesday) again on Thursday and Friday,as her hand was progressively getting worse,was swollen and seeping blood, she was told come back Monday if your hand is not better even though the hand was getting worse by the day.By Monday her hand had turned black and the poison was in her glands already. Now the doctor at Intercare says she must go to hospital but refuses to fill in the admission forms says she must go to her GP to fill in the forms. This lady is extremely ill by now with no transport. My mind cannot comprehend that this man is allowed to practice as a doctor.To cut a long story short, she was admitted to hospital on the Monday, the surgeon operated on Thursday to remove the black dead flesh and said this was a life threating VIOLIN SPIDER BITE >AN EXTREMLEY POISONOUS SPIDER>>> an the so called doctor didnt care. She had have a skin graft after a week in hospital and now has a disfigurement.Please advise how we are going to proceed with this case.

We rushed there one Sunday early afternoon and my dad thought that he was busy having a heartattck but was unsure. we get there only to be turned away and told that they cannot help us because they are closing so we must go to the hospital! pathetic excuse for doctors if you ask me!

Does not deserve any stars, they say they close at 7pm i walked in with my son at 5.30 with a fever of 38.5 and was told by the receptionist that they cant help me as, as the doctor is running late. as well the doctor will be upset if they let more people in. pathetic service will not using inter care any long
