Typical Builders Warehouse experience in 2021, no stock and empty shelves!!! I travel a lot for work and use Builders as my go-to for sundries and tools for the work I do, and countrywide they have just become pathetic in regards to stock.

I got my work suit, safety shoes and gloves. Its very convenient for all your gardening stuff. Im part of M1M and I hope one day to see builders warehouse Kempton park being involved😚😚😚😚

I went to buy some shrubs from the gardening division. They have a good range of plants at good prices. The same plant I found at Builders is R25 more expensive at other places. They also care for their plants, the guys were spraying some plants carefully with pesticides.I bought French Lavender, Bebe Fransiscana and pink confetti bush. Three shrubs came to R180. It was interesting at the tills: you see all the men buying building stuff, and I was there with my trolley of plants!

Best customer service, always someone in a isle eager to assist. You never have to be wandering the isles looking for items or service. Im highly impressed guys. The guys at the paint department are simply the best. Made my life easier, listened and advised. Went out of their way to help overall buying even in other departments until they even loded the stock in my car. I dont have anymire words other than exceptional

Great place. They go the extra mile and source my requirements from other branches, for my convenience.The biggest let down for builders warehouse as a whole is their delivery arrangement with Value Logistics. Not flexible at all and costs them clients and revenue.

I frequent this place as I find they are relatively quiet compared to others. I went looking for an electric screwdriver the other day and a few other items for a project I was busy with. When I asked someone to assist with a particular screwdriver I was looking for, they were unfortunately out of stock. I picked up the other items I needed and headed to the tills, as I was about to pay, the sales lady came running to show me that stock of a newer version has just arrived and if I want to take it. A good example of the level of customer service I always receive at this store.

A generous all in one hardware store where you can find a wide variety of diy goods. With more than enough parking with car guards its easy accessible. The only thing that is lacking is customer service. If that can be improved I would recommend going there.

Nice large store that has everything you need from Builders. Not the nicest store though. It feels like the store doesnt flow as well as others. Also there seems to be very little staff around so it can sometimes be a bit frustrating to find assistance. Most times its seems the staff are all in the paint department. I use it because its close by and it gets the job done.

Staff not willing to assist. You must approach them as they are too busy talking to each other. Go to Leroy Merlin if you want to see good staffs

Theyve got a lot of diy stuff. Each product available from various brands and reasonably priced.Finding what youre looking for is a challenge though. The signs are confusing, for example theres a huge sign that says Automotive yet you find gloves and safety shoes beneath it.None of the staff come up to offer assistance and when you look for them, they dont have easily identifiable uniforms. When you do find a member of staff, they dont seem to know about anything other than whats in their own little corner.Overall its a great shop just needs work on customer experience.

Always have everything that I need and their operating times are convenient especially the opening time of 7am, so the diy day can start as early as possible.

Rude unfriendly lazy staff .. Definitely the worst Builders. Rather drive to another Builders. From the workers to the security guards, the attitude is just terrible. Worse than a government place. Highly do not recommend this Builders!

Needs new staff that is friendly and helpful as once they work there for more then 6 months they start hiding away and customers have to hunt for store manager to get what they want

Its builders supposed to be a great experience but went to look for work pants. Was disorganised and sizes was incorrect no pricing and no one to assist.

Service is attrotious. Had an incident where and individual was to lazy to stand up to show me where a product was among multiple times where service was more than below average. I think management has forgotten the simple business model that higher prices with good customer service will perform better than lower prices and bad services which is why I will start purchasing from Leroy Merlin in future. I dont recommend builders to anyone and suggest you take the extra 10 minute drive to Greenstone. Prices are similar or even cheaper at times and services is delightful.

Builders opens for lpng which is convinient fot customers, but you will wait for forever to receive your goods. There is no order by collection side. 1 forklift to serve 20 clients

This Builders are neat and friendly staff. Not so buzy during the week. Found all items needed.

They do not replenish stock, I have been waiting years for them to restock their garden irrigation joiners etc. Also still do not have matt water based white enamel after a year of waiting. leroy merlin not too far away always has stock and far more choices, much better service and better pricing. Dont think I will use Builders again

I have the luxury of going there when its quite avoiding the crowds. Large shop well organized and helpful staff. Found everything on my list with the exception of a specific plant that their website indicated was in stock.

Your garden centre needs to be taken better care of. Plants are often extremely dry and dying xos they need water.

This is a typical Builders Warehouse with all the different sections. Well maintained. Well stocked and with daily specials. My only concern is your not so well trained staff in the bulk building material section. Second time I am seeing this problem. There will be a queue of people waiting to pay. Your staff is either just blatantly ignoring the people in the queue or they are not trained to acknowledge their waiting customers.We were literally waiting for 20 minutes in the same spot. The queue was not moving. You had only 2 staff members attending this queue. When the one staff member finished with her customer, she got up, came back, sat down and started a conversation with another staff member passing by. She was sitting, drinking water from a bottle, not looking even once in the direction of the queue. I could see the man and his wife in the front of the queue were waiting for this young lady to indicate to them to come to the pay-point. While this was happening, another customer skipped the queue and went straight to her and started a conversation with her. She started helping him with his purchase. What is wrong with this picture?

As per usual at any builders warehouse, the pricing on the shelf is either non existent or its incorrect. Plain and simple just get the staff to do their jobs that they were employed, and get paid to do. There is no service to speak of at all.....ask for help or assistance and you get ignored. Very unpleasant experience shopping there, always has been always will be.

Had to go to boksburg to find the product I was looking for !much bigger store than kempton !

Poor service from Kempton Park Builders warehouse..went to buy a fridge and asked for delivery...and to my frustration a shop of that size cannot do deliveries because they have 1 vehicle and it is broken. They wont ask another store to deliver for us....we have to make our own plan....clearly business is booming.

The guy at the key counter should be taught that you dont eat at the counter and lick your fingers while you have queuing customers waiting to be served. Surely there are regulations regarding when and where to eat at your shop? I found it quite disgusting.

The store has variety, but the staff need more attention. Only some are sufficiently helpful, the others seem to be ducking customers. At the help desk I had to wait around 10 minutes for the three ladies to finish their combined private and business chat, before being assisted.

Nobody inside this place wants to work. You have to load your own tiles in the trolley. You have to look for someone to help to find the doors. If you got all the time in the world and a lot of patiance maybe

The level of service is disappointing. Not enough staff to support or assist the client base - take a lesson from chamberlains. Stock and pricing is good, just let down by incompetent staff (not for all areas, but especially the plumbing area). Wish there was a chamberlains in Kempton!!

Used to be my favorite hardware store, but it is VERY annoying when items doesnt have prices on the shelves, while staff is standing around with Cell phones. Stock is also an issue. If you check availability online, it shows which branches have stock and even how many, but when you arrive at the store, you get a Out of stock answer. Then if you buy something from the yard, to find someone to assist with loading is almost impossible. Maybe half of BH staff is working from home, because even if the shop is quite, assistance is rare...!! I wish we can get Leroy Merlin in Kempton Park.

Needed help to find a screw size, a person who works there said,we dont have. So my girlfriend and I found the size right size in a box full of randoms, couldnt even offer to help us sort through all the random screws, he just walks off.

Very poor customer services at delivery a lot time waiting the store needs time management training lots stuff members roaming or setting around doing nothing and can’t even assist...none ether supervisor or manager never around this store really need management to do their work.

Great warehouse that covers just about everything. Some stock items are unavailable (as of this writing) due to the Civid-19 pandemic - as per information desk staff.

Full marks to the staff for their honesty! I lost my cell phone while I was there and it was handed in to security who called a friend who notified me so I went back and collected it. I find however that if you are buying small quantities they do not always have stock!

Been to Kempton Park and Greenstone looking for the Gas Goldair heater. Both stores are out of Stock and yet online you indicate that they have stock.

Customer service is absolutely pathetic, they are off line, but do not have the common sense to alert customers of this problem. Spent an hour in a queue not moving at all, eventually I gave up, willing and prepared to pay more elsewhere where I am respected as a customer and the staff are willing and prepared to help me. One star rating is way too generous!

I love builders warehouse. They have everything including the kitchen sink. But more and more they lack customer centricity. Staff would rather stand around doing nothing than actually offer assistance. And when they do they actually dont know what they have. During this specific visit I stood in the gardening section for 20 minutes waiting for help regarding a ryobi lawn mower...asked for help at the DIY section...sorry I dont work there was the response. There were six staff standing around the information desk laughing about something. I complained at the desk but they didnt care.

Another one of my favourite places. Its a breath of fresh air to go to Builders Warehouse Kempton Park. This is my main shop for hardware, building materials, lawnmowers, paint, and a lot of other necessary D.I.Y. projects.

Builders Warehouse in Kempton Parks staff are slow to help and in some cases have no idea what you are looking for nor do they know their own stock. They dont answer the phone or drop the line whilst being told to please hold, and their website is non functional. In addition when asked arranging to get stock from other branches they simply make empty promises, take your contact details and fail to even follow up or simply just ignore your request. After telling you to conclude your business (contractors counter) the cashiers simply ignore you, leave their station and leave the rest the queue to the mercy of only two other staff members. We do understand the Pandemic and Lockdown regulations are also at play, but it should not be used as an excuse to be rude or ignore customers. Good service is still to be had here this is just as of late. Please be aware we are all battling the same thing.

Was pretty good nice and quite. Only problem I had was a dodgy guy that I think wanted to either pick pocket me or wanted to kidnap my son my wife, son and myself were there. This guy was only following myself and my son near the exit looking at paint, Fans and lawn mowers but not really looking and he was hovering around us. Just felt like something was not right. But the shopping was good.

Builders is builders , at Sabuildco we only buy stock from builder if we have no other option . Generally over priced and no customer service . Most of the staff have no idea of the products in the department . The service is pathetic ! Dont buy from builders warehouse Kempton park !

Great for all hardware/ building needs except for: being a warehouse and not an express I was a bit dicsapointed to learn their yard department is not up to Warehouse standard. Lost them sales from our construction company more than once.
