Loved the different vibes of this place. The cocktails were very good and so were the food! Ill definitely visit again

Wow wow wow. What an amazing little pub. Best managers who actually cares about their customers and staff. And all the waiters always friendy and quick to help. And ofcourse quiz night every Thursday is just added bonus to great service

Local is a very vibey place to chill with friends, including quiz nights. The staff are very friendly and the drinks and food are very good. A very relaxed place to go for a drink after work.

Cold beer good food

Excelente management, pet friendly and cool patient well selected waiters.Edit: Returned to the local focal on a Sunday for a meal and drinks with friends and was greeted by Mark One of the managers sincere and welcoming we were served by Nyasha we had some nachos and popcorn chicken complements to the Chef as the plates returned clean. I do recommend a visit to the Local Focal.

Its feels very homey. It has a nice outdoor section as well as an upstairs. There is just such a nice vibe about this place. Their food is also superb. I had a cheese burger which was amazing, but their chips are to die for! They have live music too which is pretty chilled to come and watch

Great place. Great staff. Pity its so large and unoccupied on a Sunday Lunch Time, as itd be perfect for a great venue for exactly that. Dead quiet today 09 December 2018 (Sunday) at 13H00. Owners / Management nowhere to be seen. Bad. But, a great place. Such a shame.

We had our monthly treat and enjoyed our meal, the service was good but this time was an exception. We were seated in our car when a gentleman knocked on the window introduced himself as the new owner and inquired whether we had been given pensioners discount. When we told him that we had not asked for one, he took our slip and quickly returned with the altered slip and difference in cash. I was truly impressed and will surely recommend this delightful place and will surely pay a return visit.Thank you so much.

Great place to meet for a drink and a meal. Awesome and friendly staff. Sirloin steaks are a personal favorite of mine.Addition of the Craft tap room is a winner in my eyes.

Great atmosphere, quick service and a cold one

Very disappointed by the awful service here after the change in management. Complained to the manager and was told that I was wrong about my complaints. Managers disposition was aggressive and even confrontational. Definitely wont be coming back.

It has great food, excellent music on Friday and Saturday evenings from 20:00 with DJ Lino B Deep. and the people are genuine, friendly and No attitudes.The waiters are friendly and provide a great service,the chef knows what he is doing...

Took twenty mins to get acknowledged and served. Other patrons did not experience the same problem because they were not darker than 17:45. 24 years in and employees still want to be mastered.

This is a cozy pub, that has cold beers, and cold beers on tap, the best place to go for a beer with friends or even a lunch with the family, the burgers are good and nachos are the best.

I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. This place has great pub food and a wide selection of cocktails. There is different seating including a more intimate and romantic area, outdoor causal area and a busy inside are with comfortable seating.

Nice to relax and have a beer, open area upstairs to have a chat with the mates if downstairs is too noisy, live music, quizzes always something happening. Never a bad experience and Staff / manager are always happy to help and the food is well priced with good quality.

Manager made it seem like it was my fault. Agressively asked me what I wanted from my complaint after I complained. and ... And ... And ... Yeah. Not my local.

Mexican themed restaurant located in Van Buuren Rd. The place works as a dual restaurant /bar and the food is surprisingly good and very well priced. The service was efficient and friendly. I will, however, say that the overall vibe of the place is lacking a bit, it seems a bit tired.
