Horrible service firstly and also the merchandise is too commercialized and appears inauthentic . The lady at the till is awful Ill never visit again. what terrible energy also in the shop which smells of strong cheap incence and has a dark heavy feel around it.

The service received from the lady at the paypoint was really bad. I walked out and wont be visiting again.

Absolutely love House of Isis. ❤ They continue to have an extensive range of insence fragrance brands. Coupled with their essential oils and range of hydrosols I have not seen anywhere. I can positively get lost for hours just meandering around and browsing. My bank manager however does not love me when I take the trip. House of Isis is as lethal to my bank account as The Party Shop, Herbert Evans and Chamdor. There is always something I need. During Covid times just be aware of when you go as the shop, due to its size, only allows a limited number of people, and social distancing may become a bit tricky. So, dont hog the shop. I had to do my browsing today on fast forward. Still loved the trip!

Absolutely horrible, they quick to take calls and waste your airtime, but when it comes to getting back to you ..... ahhhhhh whats that... also get told via the sales person that something is to expensive. How do they know my budget, who are they to assume what I can and cant afford. Will never contact this place EVER again . This was my 1st and last thats for sure.

The service is awful. Big product range and would be nice to frequent if the lady wasnt so rude and unhelpful. House of isis has the most unwelcoming service and is downright awful. Horrible energy with zero spiritual feeling. Wont be returning. Deserves a rating lower than 1 star. In my opinion this is just too commercialised and non spiritual to be authentic. Better off getting quality products for a better price and decent service elsewhere. Even online service is a preferable option to ever visiting this hole again

Very good shop.However, similar to most spirituality shops Ive found in Johannesburg, their stock is limited to Eastern Spirituality, Spiritual Christianity and Crystals. You sadly wont find much in the way of European Pagan items here beyond a limited range of necklaces and some rune stones.

Great for browsing esoterica, beautiful jewellery, semi precious stones, soothing otherworldly music. Wonderful incense laden air and calm and peace.

An amazingly diverse store. Not many shops of this kind stock such a variety of books and herbs to boot. Friendly service and willing to assist with questions.

Love this place its a retreat from the card board cut out shallow mall. The shop itself is an experience that facilitates looking a bit deeper. The music & smells bring calm.Theres excesible treasures for all budgets from a precious gem for R15 to a Ganesh deity at R150 000. Nice to check in with an oracle/tarot card while you are there. Stay in the magic.

There is no spiritual balance spiritual products come attached with too many energies that are wicked. Not all is true and the prices are too high not recommended for spiritually sensitive and not lost. Never returning

Good essential oils but really expensive. Eerie aura and the incense smell is a bit overwhelming. The staff is not so helpful and they really should because it is not as obviously set up as a conventional store.

If you are planning on getting a reading done with a psychic, GO TO LESLIE. I went to her for a general reading and I cant even begin to explain the level of accuracy and foresight she has into your current life and future. She is incredibly gifted and has undoubted abilities to know things that would otherwise be impossible to know, let alone guess. I should also add that her predictions have come true. (Take heed when she warns you against certain people!)Shes very honest, frank and non judgemental.I left my reading with her feelings absolutely balanced, happy and in charge. I just cannot believe that a shop owner or whatever she is could loudly and unnecessarily complain about a customer asking whether they are the only one in the store. A tip... Wait until customers leave before venting about being asked whether you are the only one in the shop. I highly doubt Ill be returning here again.

A pleasure to shop

I was curious to know more about psychic/tarot reading so I decided to go in for a session. Upon arrival I was greeted and asked what brings you here today? I didnt know what made me want a reading, I guess I was lost and wanted to know what life has in store for me. The lady started with my card reading,as she saw my cards I promise I could tell there was a sense of nervousness and horror in her face. Although she tried to hide her reaction,for some reason I could see right through her and feel the energy in that room change. She seemed like she didnt know what to say to me. She tried very hard to stay on the positive side. She only spoke to me about the good things, like as if everything is perfect. She gave me very little information. Everything felt so rushed,uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I wanted to know more but before I could ask anything I was told that my session was over. She seemed more interested in taking in the next client and getting me out of there. I was very disappointed as the reading in House of Isis did not meet up to my expectations and it felt like a rip off for the amount that I had paid. Most of the readings gives you clouser but this one made me feel horrible and I walked out of there without any clouser. I could have become a regular customer. At times I do think of giving them another chance with a different psychic but I am too scared to trust them for another reading.I have had better experience for less than what I had to pay at this place.

I went there for a psychic reading, oh what a disappointment! I wasnt satisfied at all! The psychic would stuck on one subject as if she has no clue on what she was doing. The idea that some psychic are fake I think its true.

Terrrible service - Their website has photos of pendants. phone line not working due to Telkom problem. Have been trying for days to get info via advertised cell nr some info with regarding this item before travelling all the way from the Western Cape. Phoned, she cant hear me and cannot speak properly, sent an SMS, the response received the next day wrt to query on item you are advertising on your website now: We dont have those jewellery yet - but its on your site!! As a person who shopped at the House of Isis in late 1990s, what a disappointment! Whoever is running your shop is costing you a lot of business from loyal customers...
