I was initially concerned to sign a service contract United Business Solutions for the Canon copier that I purchased from them , because I live in Bloemfontein and they are based in Johannesburg. They assured me it would not be a problem. Now I am paying my monthly service contract, and they only have a telephone technician that cannot help me. They refuse to send a person to my office, claiming Covid as a reason. Not sure how to get out of this contract.*I have upgraded my review. They have sent an technician and the problem has been solved.

Great service!Great printing service solution. Its been 3 years and counting with the company and I would recommend it for your office use. Any problems you just log a call and a technician is sent to solve it. Easily managed, everything communicated. Account managers prompt in communication and correspondence with client.

The service we received was very good. We were not sure about the type of printer we wanted but a gentleman by the name Law assisted us and we managed to buy a very good printer and to date the printer is functioning very well without any problems. Ridge Reyneke came to see me in April this year. I didnt really have time but he didnt take no for an answer. Not that he was rude, he was very confident. No arrogance, beautiful confidence. That made me take some time off to talk to him. Great representive for his company, if I could have him employed here, I would in a heart beat. I have a very short fuse when it comes to bad Customer Service and not once have I felt the need to complain about anything with United. We have been dealing with Ridge from United Business Solutions. He has always been courteous and immediate to our queries. There were some issues in the technical service at the beginning but the exceptional customer service provided was immediate.

We had a switchboard system installed by United Business solutions in 2016. The service we received was always great up until now!!!We moved premises during September, we notified United Business of our intention to move and we planned all the logistics accordingly. We arranged for the switchboard installation the same time as Telkom came out so that we could ensure that everything was fine. Telkom and United Business did their installations together, Telkom confirmed that all was complete and the technician left. When United Business finished we checked the lines.... Nothing was working. They told me it was a Telkom issue. Telkom came out the next day and confirmed that everything was working on his side.We contacted United Business and paid again for a call out and we decided to move one of our extension lines to a different office.... We paid for the new line and call out on 28 September! Today is 6 October and still the extension which we paid for has not been installed! We finally had United Business technician out to our offices yesterday to repair the installation so that we can make and receive calls, however he was not sent to install the extension! So now we sit and wait yet again for a response from United Business as to when they feel like coming out to sort this out! They are quick to invoice for call out and for new lines, etc. however they just do not care to deliver or even respond to their emails sent to Rebina in support, or even info! Ridiculous service at its best!!!!!!!!

Jaques Stanbridge from United business really exceeded my expectations,i had endless problems after a WINDOWS update with my new printer, and he spent so much time assisting me via telephone and TeamViewer to resolve the problem. This was excellent service i received! I am so grateful for all the help and support received. I think all the hours spent with Jaques on the phone we are like family now!

Stay away from this company. We gave notice to terminate our contract upon expiry and they failed to collect the printer for a month, and then they charged us for the month. They estimated our usage, never follow up and overcharge us, significantly. Upon inception we negotiated a 0% increase, this was indicated on the contract, but they increase our rates every year. Poor follow-up and responses to e-mails. I can go on and on. Just stay away!

This is THE telecoms company out there! Ryan Evans from United Business has provided us with superb sales and service for the last 3 to 4 years by assisting us with VOIP, pabx systems and when covid hit, telecom solutions that really met our needs as our business needs evolved and we had to get organised in lockdown.They make an effort to understand their customers so as to give the best possible service. Their technical staff have also been very efficient in setting things up for us. Definitely recommend them for all your telecom needs especially if you need a system that facilitates working from home.

I had an interaction with Aubrey Mcube. Such a very well spoken man. Who knows what he is doing and shows such a great commitment to his job.

We got stuck without printer consumables on more than a few occasions, currently an order placed in November is still not complete, and we can again not print. We are ordering double sets of consumables in a desperate attempt to avoid this scenario and here we are again.We dont print large volumes but even so, from the time the printer notifies the cartridges are low to the time we get delivery we had run out, and we make very sure we dont delay placing the order.Service and breakdown response is just as bad, often leaving you for a week without a printer. I now need to print some critical documents, only 50 pages and I cant, while there are two different orders for cartridges outstanding from almost 6 weeks ago and another from 1 week ago.

Very pleased with the service that was provided.Ryan Ramjogi is extremely efficient and streamlined the process so that installation of our phone systems were installed hassle free.Appreciative of the excellent service provided.

Bad service. They were very eager to tie us down with a printer and contract. However service stopped once we were committed. The printer breaks down continuously. We wait days for a service rep to fix. Out of the last 2 months the printer only worked for 2 weeks. Agreed upon weekly technician visits never happen. Never. We ended up buying a number of smaller printers to keep the office functioning and paying a large monthly fee for a printer thats only purpose is as office décor.

If only there was a zero rating, they have worked so hard to deserve it. The printer supplied is always faulty, technician comes after a couple of days instead of the 24 hour turnaround time stipulated in the SLA, the managers dont know how to manage anything, its just a mess. If you thinking of buying or renting a refurbished printer from them, have a budget to print at postnet every month, or simply dont throw away your old printer.

Good DayI would like to comment on the service I received from Vuyokazi Mkhwanazi, since we started doing business with United Business Solutions. I am from a company called Iqembu Consulting. First of all Vuyokazi has been nothing but professional and efficient. I highly recommend her. She helped me to get a printer, PABX and connected me to ECN for our lines. She keeps constant contact, informing us about the UBS products. I know for a fact that she is the person I will contact if I need anything that UBS offers. She is a keeper

SHOCKING !!!!!!!!To whom it may concernI am writing to you, hoping this message will expectantly be brought under the directors attention !!!!!!!!!!We have logged numerous calls with United Business in the past in terms of repairs to our printer machine.I understand complications with regards to machineries, (despite the fact that we don’t print large volumes) but the problem we have and stated, via numerous calls and emails, as well as complaints on your website is the fact that an error accrues on your machine almost every month or regular base.This influences sales in our company we cannot afford, especially if we are paying a monthly instalment expecting value for money in terms of service and commitment from your company as promised.After logging a complaint a year ago as well as 2 months ago, stating we have technical issues as well as stuck without printer consumables (witch happens on a regular base) and after many emails and spending hours on the phone hoping to talk to the relevant person (who refuses to take any calls / are always in a meeting / never returns you messages) to assist me with our technical issues. In the end someone got back to me to try and fix the problem once again.I have mentioned that our relationship with United Business Solutions is now beyond repair as we just can not afford to pay for such pathetic, non-existent service.  After bringing all factors under their attention it was promised to send a technician to our premises on a weekly base to ensure our printer does not stall again.So here we are again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We have logged a call on the 4th of May, as our printer is showing an error again, a report was send to the office stating the machine is in working order but none of this was communicated to us. It is now the 7th of June and we are still paying for a printer that is not in working order. On the 8th of May I got into contact with a sales rep stating we need to end our contract with United Business Solutions as the printer is still not working. After receiving no reply I decided to mail again on the 7th of June (with the printer still not working, witch according to the office has been solved) and surprise, surprise I got some correspondence stating that, he would send the retainer amount that needs to be paid to end our contract with United Business Solutions.With the printer being out of order on numerous occasions we could not supply our client with critical documentsWith regards to sales in terms of our compony a printer is compulsory but is out of order ever monthWe had to invest in small office printers for each laptop, because of the lack of service from United Business as we cannot afford to lose sales.Instalments are being subtracted form our account for a printer that has been out of order for 5 Weeks now.We were promised a technician will come out every week to solve our problems but have not been here the last 4 weeksAfter logging a complaint an employee from the service department phoned us to apologies stating that she is happy that our problem has been solved, only for me to bring under her attention that the technician has not even arrived on site yet to fix the problemIt is our biggest regret to have signed a 3 year contract with your company and I will not recommend this to any business as it is just not worth the money, time and effort in terms of what you deliver with regards to service, quality and value for money.Hope to hear from you soon.

Pathetic, non existent service from a service provider. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. No service can’t get supplies after many emails and spending a hour and a half on the phone. Management refuses to take your call. Service department avoids your calls and worst of all the receptionist puts done the phone on me. Yet here I face a three year contract with this inefficient company.
