Dr Laloo I cant thank u enough for the amazing experience I have had.. the first time I met the Dr Laloo was when she had squeezed me in on a Monday as I was carrying twins an had lost the one.. I was so nervous but her words to my husband an I made me feel so calm an knew I was in good hands.. I couldnt afford to come for all my appointments as medical aid only covers for few ..she had arranged for me so that my appointments fitted in for the limited appointments coved by the medical aid and always fitted me in at a convenient time to suit me.. she always answered all questions while also having an amazing humour which we enjoyed, she always took her time an never rushed appointments... the birth experience was everything I wanted an this was the first time I had received everything I wanted as this was my third pregnancy.. I even got to go with my birth ball, hubby got to cut the cord an she allowed me to stand while birthing.. even though I refused pain killers or an epidural she had kept coming to ask if Im sure .. even the nurses which work with Dr laloo was amazing, they checked up on me regularly an the entire team including Dr Laloo always gave me encouraging words when I was about to give up.... thank u for such an amazing experience .. I will always refer people to u as I know they wont go wrong ..thank u again!

Dr Laloo is an amazing Doctor. From the moment of my appointment , my husband and I felt very confident to discuss any issues I had. She listened and asked every possible question there was to ask. She was very comforting. She had than booked me into hospital to check all my underlying conditions and she got a Physician and ETN to come see me. I’m so grateful that everything was dealt with. I would highly recommend her.

I have never had an experience with a medical professional as bad as the one I had with Dr Laloo. I can *almost* forgive the fact that my appointment was pushed three hours because of the patient before me going into labour — luckily I was able to wait in my car and work, however in hindsight it would have been better for her staff to advise me to reschedule instead of promising that it would be a maximum wait of one hour. But I cannot forgive how my appointment went. After my 3 hour wait, Dr Laloo rushed my consult and completed it in ten minutes. She took phone calls while I was speaking, and addressed me condescendingly. She failed to do a proper scan (the main purpose of my visit), insisting that not seeing something was a good sign (as opposed to looking to find it). She shut down queries I had about different approaches, before again rushing me out.To anyone reading this: good bedside manner and professional conduct are very important, and I urge you to bear this in mind when making any appointment with a medical professional, to spare yourself the kind of experience I unfortunately had (and paid for) with Dr Laloo.

She was 2 hours late for our appointment without any explnation. When I was called into the rooms (due to covid I had to wait outside) another patient popped in to have stitches removed as I was sitting in the waiting room and then was taken in before me as i was told its just a quick thing and i had to wait even longer than the initial 2hours wait.I had concerns regarding what I saw her for so rang her a couple of days after my appointment and I was told i will get a call the following day. Then called the reception the following day only to be told the doc is busy and will only call me on monday. I never heard back from her. Wont be going back.

I went for a visit to Dr Laloo and she said I need to have a Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopic done. The procedure was done at Melrose Advance Fertility Clinic and I was discharged the same day.A few day later I started vormating and getting more sick so I went to see her. She then admitted me to Garden City Hospital which I did not approve of. My medical covers me for better facilities. She then informed me at 10:00pm the same night stating she needs to perform an emergency operation. After the operation I ended up in ICU and she said the she found a clear liquid around the ovaries and it might be an allergic reaction to the dye or my body is not reacting well to the first operation.A few days later thanks to Dr Shri I was informed me that my bladder was cut and she doesnt know how it got there. Basically urine was collecting in my body. I ended with a lung infection and pneumonia in ICU.This was the worst experience in my life and I will never she her again. When I asked to be transfered out of Garden City and her care she agreed. My hubby made arrangements and the all of a sudden she told the others hospitals that I am recovering and doing well.I spent over a week in ICU and my recovery time is 6 to 8 weeks. I had numerous visits with a urologist, pulmonologist, physiotherapist, surgeon and dietician. It was a total nightmare.I have to pay cash for my aftercare visits as my medical aid is a hospital plan.I also told her I would prefer going to see another gynecologist because my hospital pays 100% of my bills at Life Fourways. She suggested Melrose Arch Advance Fertility Clinic and she said my medical aid will pay for everything. I am now receiving bills from the Anethetists because he charges more than medical aid rates. I was not informed about all this before being admitted.I was not properly explained how dangerous this procedure can be. I might have done went ahead with it if she took time to explain everything properly.
