I know many people who have gone to Genesis clinic and every one gave me positive feedback and highly recommended it for us. Excited to go there for our first!

I birthed at Genesis Clinic on the 16 October 2020. I was in labour from the 15th and called in late that night to ask if I can come in as I had bloody mucus and was told if I feel its necessary. I never went in due to the night nurses who were always down right rude. At 2am on the 16th I ended up going there as the contractions were intense, another nurse checked me and I was 5cm dilated and needed to be admitted... She was an absolute darling! My midwife was amazing, water birth went perfect however when the so called paediatrician came to check my baby, she did not do a thorough check up as upon my 6 week check up with Dr Bopape, it turned out that my baby had a tied tongue which is why she kept choking when breastfed. This was supposed to be snipped when she was born which was not done... Extremely disappointed at some of the night staff at Genesis and the paediatrician who worked over that weekend.
