Very expensive, paid R900 for 10 mins check up. I pay R450 in Sandton central

Sunninghill Medical center situated on the corner of Edison and Maxwell Drive.Patients pay an upfront cash fee of Between R750-R650 and claim back from medical aid depending on doctor and / or back to back appointments from same family members.No coffee and tea facility which is always a lovely touch in a Doctors room.The doctor we always see Dr Anton Coetzee is very nice and patient with us and good with children.Parking can get a bit busy and it’s limited to less than 25 cars , so parking across at the Sunninghill Shopping center can be of convenience then waiting for parking.

I’ve seen Dr Coetzee and Dr Howes and have been very impressed by both. Fantastic and caring doctors. They truly go the extra mile.

I have been going to this medical centre for over 20 years. The Drs are world class and the administrative staff always friendly and eager to help. Can highly recommend.

Dr Alan Fuller is fantastic, didnt rush through the appointment and made sure any questions I had were answered. The nurse who took my bloods was also brilliant. Well worth the premium you pay to be seen at this practice!

My son had injured himself at the shopping centre across the road. We walked over to the medical centre for some help. My son wasn’t in too much pain and I was willing to wait, but I was told we wouldn’t get any help because there were already too many patients there.It wasn’t the first time I had gone there with a query, it just wasn’t the reply I was expecting that time. It was just before 17:00 and I assumed she didn’t want to stay at work longer than what was necessary. Unfortunately, the interactions I’d had with the receptionist there were never great.It’s actually so conveniently located considering the amount of time I spend in Sunninghill but if it means having to deal with front staff who cannot empathize, then I would rather go to Sunninghill Hospital and wait 2 hours with friendly staff. Which is what I did.

A good doctor, but very expensive. You have to pay R700 up front and claim it back from your medical aid yourself. My medical only covered part of this so that was very disappointing. She was very rushed and didnt really give me the time I was paying for, Id not go back because of this. I was suppose to go for tests but the staffs reluctance to assist with medical aid enquiries put me off completely

Overcharge patients, you pay for scripts and they do not give you the medicine you require once you ask for a repeat script.

Expensive and doctor only saw me 1h15min after my booked appointment.
