Absolutely unprofessional service to say the least. The old man with a beard is very indeed very rude and does not possess any customer interaction skills as indicated in multiple previous reviews.As for the owner who goes by the name Brian, is actually Ebrahim. He is extremely inconsiderate. I had to wait for approximately 60 mins in order to have a chat to him after which he was still not willing to give me his full attention and time.

When you call they give a cheap price only to be told a higher price when your at the shop.

A month ago someone broke into my car in Fairland.A sales person @ a dealer suggested I call central lock smith.They sent a driver to pick me up @ my sons place.I drove my car to their premises and they removed and replaced barrel , housing and igntion lock. So after 2 hours job completed.Price was right and service good.I highly recommend Central locksmith.

Professional guys. Were very busy but worth the wait. Had been elsewhere to get other quotes but these guys gave me the best advice at a very reasonable price. They are not auto electricians...just good locksmiths...thats why they busy all the time. Been back a number of times for locks and keys to be made. Excellent job on my bmw keys...not a day of trouble since they fixed them....remember miracles take a little longer...

Central locksmiths charged me R850 to repair a Renault key card. The repaired card worked for 3 days. When I returned to Cenral I was fobbed off by them and was told it was the card reader that was faulty. Fortunately I was referred to GS Locksmiths who provided me with a key. When I again went back to Central to prove to them that it was not the card reader but their inefficient repair, I was dismissed with a” We fixed it and we are not going to work on it again.” Service provided by Central Locksmiths must rank as the worst I have ever had.

I cannot believe the poor service but more importantly the terrible attitude of the so called manager. after explaining the complications that i had received from another key cutting company I was still given keys that didnt fit my lock. When returning the next Saturday only to find that they had decided to close early presumably due to the rain. when returning for the second time I was met with abuse from the manager whilst he was busy eating his breakfast with his mouth open. My only comment to him to in anyway prompt his bad attitude was that after travelling there three times to get a simple key cut then he should consider refunding the cost of the work as it had cost me far more that that. the manager then refused to do the work correctly and would only give me my money back maybe because he only had one blank and I required two keys to be cut.Brian I have dealt with you guys for a long time and am I so cross with the service and terrible attitude of your manager-speak to him

Used this lock smith over the past four years for my shop. Had a minor break in at my flat and tried explaining the locks were damaged and tampered with. Explained that it is my property and my Gardner is currently living in the back house. Was put on hold for the manager who then proceeded to basically shout at me extremely frustrated with me like Im a child arguing with me like an irate customer refusing to help listing all these rules of how he is a property owner and if he unlocks my door he will face charges ranting at me like an irate customer. Now Im in the customer trade and I was calm and just asking trying to explain the situation and reply back to him while he shouted about squatters in the property etc not even giving me a chance to explain there is non its a simple break in. They were extremely happy to help me in Melrose arch directly behind them with no effort from there part. I am extremely disappointed that a Manager will rant and rave at me over a simple request. Thanks but Ill go get my over r300 keys cut somewhere else. Will NEVER use their services again. I will simply break open the wooden door myself and replace the whole door and waste my only off day for the week. Their professional service only lasted while it was convenient for them and no manager required for assistance.

I had problems with a Mercedes Benz key got the poeple out to get it sorted out and they damaged the ignition by wiping out the data from the EIS. I went to there office and took back the key they made and ask for a refund and they keep promising they will pay my money into my account its been now 5 days and i still didnt recieve my money back. Worst service ever i will not recommend there service at all.

All i can say these guys are the best locksmiths i wil recommend them to anyone the services are professional and the prices are reasonable i have used locksmiths before but they are not so good and reliable like central locksmiths so give them a try they wont dissapoint u for all your locksmith needs.

I was told it would take half an hour to code s transponder for a simple sedan, (nothing special or complicated, like a Merc or BMW), these guys were so unprofessional they cut the wrong profile kry then modified the key profile, damaged the barrel of the ignition lock and then failed to do the coding. I was threatened by one of the locksmiths who made some really unwholesome comments. In the end I spent at least 6 hours there while they tried to get the keys to work. They kept making all sorts of excuses and blaming everything and everyone else for their lack of ability and unprofessional behavior. I Went to another locksmith the next day who did the job properly and professionally the next day in 20 minutes and repaired all the damages done the previous day by these hackers.

What service? Arranged twice to have them come change the locks to our gate. Made an appointment for 2 Saturdays in a row and both times no one pitched! E-mailed them again after the second time and no one answered. Totally unprofessional.
