Great atmosphere but I was annoyed because they are super busy on certain nights and they clearly short of waiters. Why not hire more ...there is so many people looking for work. In that way you do t have to wait 25min at the bar to order...you will sell more drinks and.make more money!also the waiters say drinks specials for half an hour but they definitely dont keep to that time. They have so much potential to run a classy operation

We had such an awesome time at Chicago Piano Bar on Saturday 31st Oct 2020 for Halloween. The owners were very accommodating and met our every need. The food was spectacular. Well be back 🌺🍾🕸🕷

Glad to see we not the only ones being bullied by that big bouncer. His bullying was put all over Hello Peter. He bullied my cousin who was not even the one who started trouble, yet the trouble maker got to stay and my cousin was put out.

Chicagos is a very casual place and love their music upstairs. Drinks are amazing with good bouncers taking care of the peace.

Went there for the first time on Karaoke night. The karaoke is a bit dull but their specials are great. The smoking area bar is impeccable. We loved the AL Capone quotes on the wall.

Beers could be colder. Windhoek draft on tap would be great.

The place will never see me again. The top bar is filled with young kids that are all on top of one another. Definitely no covid protocols are followed by this establishment. It is a covid-19 hive. On Friday Evening a fight broke out between two brothers (they were Kids) and the bouncers dragged them out of the club and laid into them and punched a woman in the face that was trying to assist the boys. This is the second time that I have personally witnessed an event like this with bounces laying into young people that are too drunk and cant defend themselves.Sorry not even worth a star.

Terrible that I got thrown out by my neck for no reason!The owner called me and was very helpful and apologized to me. I feel the situation was handled. However that idiot bouncer is known to do that so he should be fired.Those bouncers are biased, racist and do what they want for fun. They dont do things by the book. Why is that bouncer still there?

Last night we went again and were very dissapointed. We never order food and cocktails only drinks. We were greeted by the manager, very friendly, and then was seated by one of the waiters. We decided to order cocktails amd a few starters. My wife ordered a Magarita and I ordered a tequila sunrise. When the drinks came we were shocked by the quality of the cocktails. My wifes drink tasted like watered down apple sours with no ice and mine was bland with minimal ice. We called the waiter over and asked to cancel the food. The manager got a sniff of this and approached us kindly. We showed him my wifes drink and he kindly offered to remake it himself. The return of the drink was better missing the crushed ice but had a lot of big ice blocks. Not pong after our food arrived. Errrrr the crumbed mushrooms was nothing that i expected, instead of small crispy coated mushrooms we received big thinly sliced black mushrooms that were cripsy. Our Tipsy Prawns werent very tasty and we left half of it. The chips and cheese suace was pleasant though. My advice please invest in a ice crusher and teach the staff to make very nice cocktails and pay a bit more attention to the food.The live music is awesome.

Its a well known bar and entertainment venue in Randpark Ridge. Well visited. The age ranges between early twenties to late sixties. The show is something I found a little bit too much as it includes some sort of games but I felt it was a bit degrading towards women. Certain games and certain situations where audiences were involved were a bit vulgar but this is my opinion. Some other people love it like it is. The security is very sharp and organized and had all hands to do to keep some people off the stage. The guests need to respect that the stage is off limit because there is very expensive equipment from the musicians there. The food was...lets say it has room for improvement. Secure parking is provided. Music rocks. Overall its great. You dont have to be at the show and can come after 8ish. The place filled up between 9 and 10 pm. Its a great bar for people to enjoy themselves.

We attended the Jan Blohm and Band show which was excellent. Chicagos food was good and all staff very friendly. The vibe was lively. The venue perfect for us. Close to home.

Very good food, although the service was a bit slow. My husband was already past half through his draught & we didnt have our mojitos yet. I suppose it was bcos of the time (about 12:30) we were there. In the drinks picture, is already his 2nd draught

Average place just be careful with your belongings as there is no camera facilities that work! Not customer friendly and bit of a dive but for the average folk its okay.

Food could have been better but staff is friendly.Chicago response: We ate Chicken Schnitzel which could have been crispier and tempura prawns which came without the lemon advertised - I had to ask for it and the Cheesecake was still frozen when it arrived. Although the price of the main meal may be warranted, for the cheesecake it isnt. Also our desserts were removed before we had finished eating them... Ice cream and cheesecake which was waiting to thaw.

This venue is a mixed bag. Come happy and lively, the rest will become memorable. Love to party 🎉

Would have rated 5 stats if not for the bouncers. They think they are gods, rude and obnoxious and accept R100 bribes from underage kids to be allowed in.

Cool party place at night some people go there to fight but other than that it’s really cool. Live bands and great music and the DJ is very cool and keeps the vibes going all night long. Bring your friends and chill upstairs and have a great time watching everyone dance and joining in as well lots of cool awesome locals to meet.

Always have a blast going here. Great vibe, good tunes and just a blast. They host parties and give prizes too!Can get a bit cramped but its not the end of the world and actually easier to enjoy with the Covid limitations so not everyone is ontop of each other.

I love Chicagos because it is a place where there is zero pretention and you can just be yourself.People go there to simply have fun. Its very, very casual. The people are all approachable. The drinks are very affordable and on weekends there is a live band that plays till late.If you are out for a night of dancing in a safe environment, where you can be totally you, warts n all, this is the place to go!

Not as amazing as it used to be. Firstly, you used to be able to socialise with your friends whilst being able to talk to one another. The food was better. The only good thing I experienced was the type of music played and this hasnt changed at least. Was sad to not be able to talk to my friends because it was too loud!

Went here on recommendation from a client. Arrived quite late in the evening. But it was good. Great music from the DJ and also live music.There was a more mature crowd who just had fun and boogied the night away.

One of our favourite local spots!! Down stairs they have the restaurant and the stage which they often have live bands playing! and some old school jams which works well with everybody (young and old) especially if you just want to have a good night out! Upstairs they usually have a far more club vibe going. All and all you get a bit of everything there!

Nice venue to take clients for drinks after work or meet mates. They have weekly drinks specials which seem to be very popular. Music was good, service was good and staff friendly. Would like to go back and try the food sometime as I believe their food is good to. Will be back.
