I was shattered at the costing of a fairly minor pool repair. I had steeled myself to expect a bill of around R2500; share my distress when it came in at R4993! A local pool company quoted just over half that amount for the work done. Trade prices are obviously not passed on to customers ; when did a tube of Pattex glue cost R162 or a single steel clamp R73? I was accused of not disclosing the problem: isnt that why one calls in a pool specialist? - to diagnose and repair? Certainly wont be recommending this company to anyone. One very disappointed customer.
