The food is always great, and the last time we went they helped me plan a surprise dinner and the execution was PERFECT. I ordered and paid in advance, and they followed exactly what I asked for, bringing wine as we arrived, dinner 20 minutes later and dessert shortly after, without asking for a thing.

Food is great. My only complaint is their online ordering system and ready times dont correspond. Very NB. With curbside pick when the website tells you 6pm and you wait in the car. Get this right and definately 5 stars.

Outstanding Food & service!!! I had special dietary requirements which were met & my grilled chicken was the best Ive ever had at a restaurant. One of our group said he would have liked a sweet with the bill!!! 😉😊🤩

After many good experiences, unfortunately this time, an hour wait, and 2 other people walking out on their orders, we finally received some of our food that we ordered and took it home as a takeaway. To our surprise, half the toppings were missing.What a pity.

RTG is a kosher restaurant which does not serve any dairy. They specialise in Chinese and Indian food, but also make a large variety of fast food. I find their food to be above average. Finding parking is a bit of a problem, but is manageable.

The only reason I am giving this place one star is because zero is not an option. I have never encountered a more rude or disrespectful owner in my life. After a long wait. At least the waiter was nice. Skip this place and go somewhere the owner cares about customer service.

I’m surprised at the high average rating for this restaurant. I just ate there with a friend - one beef ribs, one lamb chops, one juice, and one small glass of bad wine - and it was over 700 rand! It would have been overpriced in Rosebank or Sandton but for Norwood, it was absolutely ridiculous.

Best kosher meat restaurant in the world

Ordered a stir fry chicken , my husband ordered chicken chow meVery very little chicken. Was told there was 125g of chicken in each portion. Both meals were all veg and minuscule amount of chicken . Manager said they would have to relookat quantity with owners. Offered to bring an extra portion of chicken at our cost. Very dissapointed for the price. Could have bought a whole barbecue chicken for the same price. Cold drinks R25 water R 22 must be the most expensive in joburg. Will never recommend or return to this restaurant

A comfortable, easy going, kosher meat and seperate dairy/sushi restaurant (NextDoor). On the meat side the grillmen know what they are doing, full stop. A wide range of menu options of different style kitchens should offer something for everybody. It fills up in the evenings and Sundays, so I recommend calling ahead to book a table.
