Sent my 9 month old here for 4 months. All you pay for is a small child to teacher ratio but other than that there isnt much difference than other schools. My child came home smelling like perfume most days. There were 3 principles in the time we sent her there. I felt that her teacher was slightly unqualified, one of the examples are that when knowing that my child has a cows protein milk allergy and is constipated, she suggested COWS MILK to make her better.

Absolutely amazing teachers at this school,lots of love and undivided attention.

Lap is the most expensive school in the area. We decided to send our daughter to lap Saxonwold as the teacher to child ratio is low. Upon enrolling her the ratio did not reflect in the attention given to the children. Lap Saxonwold is just a glorified baby sitting club. After raising issues such as kissing babies, wearing way to much perfume when handling babies (as our baby aways came home smelling like strong red door fragrance) and when raising this telephonically the phone was put down in my ear. Often we got other babies stuff packed in our bags and visa versa (which is odd since there are 2 teachers and 4 babies) there is a lack of passion and the classroom is so under resources they only have hard toys for the babies to play with .there is no tactile engaging toys or any effort to reach milestones for monthly development. For close to R5000 a month this is not what I would expect. Best decision to remove her from this school.
