Dusk Till Dawn Backpackers Lodge is one of the best backpackers I have come across in my travels. It has a beautiful view overlooking the whole of Johannesburg. It is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. You can see a lot of effort care and love has gone into the whole place. It has a really nice vibe and good quality facilities as well as good security. The owners Pierre and Althea are awesome people and bring a great vibe. Dusk Till Dawn is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone passing through Johannesburg.

A nice family place with very helpful and very friendly staff. The dorm is nice and the entire place looks pretty cool. Its a tad bit remote, but since this is Joburg and they offer shuttle services, this is not an issue at all.

Immediately clicked with these wonderful owners. Never thought one could relax so much in Johannesburg. The views are amazing and one actually enjoys the bright lights of the city on display. The room we stayed in was clean and verycomfortable and the food was amazing. The pasta cheff really makes an AMAZING dish! Will definately be back.

I was able to book online , it was very easy to do, I needed a lift from the airport and dusk till dawn staff were waiting for me as I arrived , the house is very uniquely decorated, I was made 3 amazing meals , there is a gorgeous view that over looks the whole of Johannesburg, the swimming pool is perfect for a hot day, there is a fabulous bar that is always stocked up and cheap to buy, I adored my room and it has very reasonable prices!There is an awesome pool tableA big tv and unlimited wifiThere is even a brilliant library that you can sit in and relaxCutest most loving petsThere is over 1000 dvds to choose from if you just want to lay in you’re room and watch movies all day !The atmosphere is so warm and welcomingThe owners are a delight, always in the mood to have a good time with youI went on a tour that they offer you and it was just mind blowing- we went on bikes and stoped all over for a drink and something to eat on the way !It has a spacious parking areaAnd it’s gated so it’s very safe, there is also a gard at night just to make sure you’re protectedThere is also cameras!My experience at dusk till dawn was second to none and I will never go anywhere else when I travel to Africa againDusk till dawn deserves a 10 star ratingThank you 😊

Family run guest house with great, happy, balanced, interesting, friendly people. The décoration is tribal/trippy. They have a fully equiped kitchen for self catering, large locked parking, dorms, swimming pool, and an awesome view of Joburg.

Hebrew below :)I stayed for 3 days at Down till Dusk with my boyfriend.We slept at the double room that was clean, beautiful and comfortable.We with Piere and John. Piere runs the place and John is his father in low who helps there.They are both so nice and friendly !!We felt like we arrived home !!!They both so kind .and helped with everything we needed.And the location is super easy to get to airport.I slept in a hostel with my partner for two nights. The place is actually a big house that has guest rooms. We sleep in the double room inside the house.Was very spacious and clean.We met Pierre, the owner of the place. And his father-in-law - John who helps run the place.Both are very charming and kind and helped us with everything we needed. We felt at home!Their location is very convenient for getting to and from the airport.
