A hidden gem!

Fantastic monument to its period! It was the residence of the first mayor of Johannesburg and of many prominent citizens since then. Its in private ownership and can only be visited on an organised tour.

Descent place to be. Im preparing to go there again. I enjoyed it

Beautiful historic old house. Lots of character. Owner shows you around. Guided tours of the house. Functions can be held there.

Tour needs refining. Excellent high tea, wonderful host.
