This place is very nice but we waiting for so long to just place our order and even longer to get our drinks.The owner is a very nice guy. Everything went smoothly the second time around so I am giving them 5 stars

I had just had one of those days where you feel like doing the laptop in a coffee shop thing just to cleanse your psychological palette with the stillness of anonymity.The Cosmopolitan Lounge caught my eye as I rolled mindlessly down commissioner street. I was invited in by Its warm and rich darkwood furnishes against varnished exposed brick, and the gentle nostalgic sounds of familiar old-school RnB.I settled into a corner couch and lit a cigarette as the waiter handed me a glass of whiskey.Sitting there in silence, I watched traffic build outside while replaying the earlier scenes of my day.Just then my girlfriend calls.I will be home later than normal today honey, I tell her before making a mental note that this lounge has just become one of my favourite hide away spots in Jozi.My laptop never came out, but my palette was thoroughly cleaned.

Terrible service terrible prices for all drinks venue is dark if you. The waiter actually made me write my own order out it was impossible to get the right price almost like the guy was making his own prices as he was going along. The only reason why Im giving the place two stars is because it was safe other than that Ill go somewhere else

One of the good old building in town, it is well managed and designed. Good for those that wants to chill and drink but there is no much activities taking place there

Unique spot in Joburg to grab a drink. Would highly recommend it as a spot to precede dinner in Maboneng. Their take on a Tom Collins was worth the visit! Good live music as well.
