I am an Australian and know nothing about muthi but find different cultures amazing. My family visited in 2014 and were brought here by our tour guide. While the shop was interesting we were not welcomed in any way. Extremely rude assistants but we bought some lovely beads so as not to be rude just gawking. I visited again in July 18 with my mother and again were taken there by a tour guide. The shop assistant was again very rude, we were expected to give a donation of a nominated amount. Mum tried to buy some beads but was pushed out of the way when our tour guide came to the counter to check on us. The assistant thought he was a customer! Have let the local tour guides know this is not a pleasant stop although very interesting for a foreigner.

Thokoza ! Be careful when you shop here - they rip you off on pricing and are very rude - especially if you are white. Im a white sangoma and have found the same articles they sell here for much less in the shops around it. they up the price according to the customer. I also find their muthi is not clean - it has a heavy energy and is not harvested or sold in a spirit of light and healing. there is strong muthi in and around this shop to pull or call you in and make you buy things or depart with your money - its a kind of tagate that sticks to you - be careful before you go in. Thokoza. Gogo Stef.
