Ordered on Tuesday (28th) got my order on Wednesday (29th). Its exactly what I ordered.

I am quite disappointed with the quality of my unit and the (lack of) customer service that followed.I had ordered the 4x4 spiced orange unit (which I think is no longer available on the website). I received it a little over a month ago and cared for it as I do all my other units. Aside from the at times excessive shedding I was satisfied but was quite dismayed when the cap tore after a month of wear. I went through to the Online store in Illovo to seek help (perhaps a closure change or a fix) but was told that because of Covid restrictions and the fact that the lace had been customised (by them at their store), there was nothing they could do. I am really disappointed because this was quite an expensive piece (4200) and it speaks to the quality of the wig more than anything- I have units from other vendors that are still in perfect condition from 4 years ago, so it is not a matter of rough or inexperienced handling.

I ordered a wig online, delivery took abt 5 days when it finally arrived I didnt like it looked quite different to picture and cap was too tight. I logged a return same day next day courier collected...that was the first of Sept 2021 up untill today 15 sept 2021 I am still waiting for my refund. Their excuse is the pmt keeps on bouncing back we confirmed account number too many times, I even asked they transfer refund to an alternative acc/method😩now all of a sudden Sindi no longer responds to me. I am very dissapointed since it was my first time to order from them and would not recommend shopping their wigs online better u go to the shop

Its day 3 of waiting for my delivery, the tracking number which came to my email Fast way courier says doesnt exist. I am calling them to get clarity on the parcel and its whereabouts and no one is picking up the phone. If its an operational business can the phone ring more than 5 times with no one picking up. Honestly Im disappointed because this is not the level of professionalism I expected especially being a first time buyer with them. For us to come back again or recommend you guys you need to treat us as your Queens.

Haircut DO NOT USE THEM...First off they are extremely unprofessional in everyway, you get no acknowledgement of your order or payment. The option of getting same day delivery or next day is all lies! Its my third day waiting and still nothing and no one has gotten back to me via phone email or WhatsApp. This is truly sickening!

I bought t444z hair food from them. This was my second time i was using the product but theirs was way different from the first one i used, starting from the smell. I bought it 3 years ago. I still have the product. I tried contacting them via email to lodge my dissatisfaction but no-one attended me.

I bought synthetic hair piece for braiding. The staff members were very helpful and took their time to help me pick the correct colours, they also showed me all the available stock. The prices are competitive, the store is in good location with secure parking and easy access to the highway.

Went and had my hair done, asked if the stylist could cut my hair into a certain style before starting the process he said yes but then turned out he just cut my ends and the style wasnt even considered then he curled it and pretended it was the style I showed still charged 250 for the cut, disappointed and wouldnt use hair city for any reason again nor would I recommend it to anyone. I came home to wash my hair from over and blow dry it and straighten it as when I had it done professionally, it was as if my hair was towel dried. If the stylist is only used to dealing with black hair types he or she should then state so in order for the rest of us with non black hair types to go elsewhere. 700 wasted on nothing

Getting hold of them proved to be difficult, but once they were informed that my product was delivered to the wrong address, they tracked it. katleho updated me throughout the process and that made my experience easier as I didnt have to worry. Great stylists, but pathetic service. You wait around like in a public clinic, a treatment that takes 15 minutes is considered to be an hour long. Booking system useless since you wait around for as long as the person in front of you is still being attended to. If you happen to have the whole day to wait around, perfect for you.

Hair City Mall of Africa is trash. I bought a synthethic bob for R1150 and I wasnt happy with the hair and I returned it in less than two days(Talk about expensive and poor quality). They do not train their staff and the manager had the audacity to waste my time to tell me that I can never get my full refund back. The Commisioner states that A good returns policy coupled with excellent customer services will be essential to avoid complaints to the National Consumer Commissioner. In terms of s56 (read with s55) of the CPA, all goods sold to a consumer are sold with an implied warranty of quality, that cannot be contracted out of or revoked. Worst Online shopping ever I ordered a Wig on 3 May 2018 and was told It was gonna take 6 weeks to receive it . till now still havent received it .I have call the branch in Corlett Drive 3 times to query and ask whats happening still they couldnt tell me nor did they call Back after telling we that they need to speak to head office. really not IMPRESSED.

This morning I received the most despicable service, blatant disrespect and having the phoned dropped in my ear from Maxine at Online purchases at Hair city. I was told that I am not important as a customer and the money that I spend there ( on an annual basis I spend overR 5000.00 as I purchase the celebrity full lace wigs) is not important for her to listen to my concern and unhappiness about a wig I purchased. When I called back and the switchboard put me through she threw the phone down in my ear again. I phoned again and I was transferred to Thumi who is an absolute blessing. I have dealt with Thumi before and she is just the best, she was very professional and assured me that they will look at my concern and let me know.

28 Dec got a Brazilian lace wig let me just say....Its not worth it, apart from the lack of service the wig sheds like cat fur. Got my wig paid, no invoice, no care instructions just a R75 off on my next online purchase (lol) and a little card for next time I come in.Its quite upsetting as this was my first lace wig and was excited and hoped the experience would be waaay better than it actually Was, If it werent for my friends who made the trip worthwhile I would have walked right out, maybe its the store or maybe it was just a bad day for the consultants, either way I shouldnt have to be a casualty of those cercumstances.If your going to charge me thousands for a wig can you please make sure to keep your end of the deal and give me the quality and service Im paying for. I am coming to you for a service that I can provide to myself (plenty of DIY wigs) or get from elsewhere, if (from my experience) what your saying is you dont care for the business then be open about it from the onset and dont let me waste my money time and energy. Ive never done a video review on anything before its sad that my first one is about not ever returning to Hair city.

Id Say , Service was awful , I bought a long ponytail that was R425 then on Website stated orders over R400 is free While when I got in contact with someone , they insist I needed to pay R55 I wasunhappy then the Worst , I got told my order will be delivered today I waited and waited , I was told if I paid today next day I would get my stuff ,I paid on Thursday 21 February I was Told Delivery Today but this Happened , phoned the Courier he said Tuesday ....
