I think Woolworths Bassonia have great and friendly staff and they always have the right thing Im looking for. Their food quality is always great and honestly I never have a problem here good job Woolworths Bassonia keep it up

Hi thereCan someone please help me understand what sell by use by dates mean? Because our dinner was ruined the other day.The salad use by date was the 6th but it was already off on the 5th and we couldnt eat it😔couldnt return to the store as we were visiting the area and we checked out the next day.

The butchery staff are so helpful, and this Woolies, has good stock and a fair variety of items. The cafe is also pretty good. The bakery is a little overpriced with much cheaper and much better bakeries gracing the South. The tills are generally very slow and that keeps me from shopping there more often.

Woolworths.. you have out done yourselves!!!!I am still trying to overlook the fact that you must now lable mixed lettuce packs as vegan incase customers are confused thinking it is .... maybe, I dont know its pork disguised as lettuce (gotta market that lettuce to vegans!! make sure we know lettuce is lettuce!!!!)and Although I do understand this is an attempt to make us look out for these signs in the other areas (amongst processed food).. because if your letting us know that vegetables are plant based I seriously have no faith in humans any more....But.... Last time I checked mushrooms were actually fungus...Just putting this out there 😂(But yes, love the food either way)

Really a super food Woolies store. It has a upmarket polish that you feel when you enter this store. Spacious, clean with logical layouts of food groups. Nice upgrades to the Fridges. The transparent doors are practical. Your barista makes wonderful coffee ☕. Fruit and veg are really fresh.

A big, well run Woolies. Queues can sometimes be a bit insane though...

Fresh products, friendly helpful Manager and staff. I enjoy the fresh food and W Cafe. Mocca coffee is gr8 and so is the shots, especially lemon, ginger & cayenne pepper. Parking is hectic at present, as a result of renovations.

Great store for fruit, vegetables, dairy products, butchery, bakery, wine cellar, household cleaning products, toiletories and numerous other products and an adjoining Woolworth Cafe

If I could I would rate the kiosk the Worst coffee kiosk at any Woolworths in any province I have ever been to. The staff at the kiosk blatantly lied to me and the manager of the coffee area refused to acknowledge the fact that he fd up (no communication with his own colleagues) . The rest of the store was great but it can only be as good as the weakest link. Would not recommend you get coffee here. Rather go to the Meyersdal Woolworths if you dont want to ruin your day.

Well stocked. Clean. No packers and people dont pack their own groceries hence its crazy at the till point. It will be amazing if ppl started packing their groceries into bags. Its the right thing to do.

This is one of those great woolies stores. Never full. Always has a good amount of most things. I always find what I’m looking for when I come here. Hardly, if ever do they have long lines. The staff and helpful and friendly and know where stuff is lol. The food is always fresh and tasty!!! My preferred woolies store!!

Always helpful staff and I can find most, nearly all of what I want. However the restuarant staff manning tables could do with seriously improved customer attention and be time sensitive to deliver/serve tables or takeaway orders

This is my favourite woolies. They have literally everything you need plus this store does food, kitchenware, and theyve got an eatery. Staff are always super friendy and helpful. Cashiers are very polite and work quickly. The store is clean, and shelves are always packed neatly. Theyve also got a coffee stand right in the middle of the store. Location is great, plenty of parking always.

Love this Woolworths food branch. Always beautiful fresh veggies and fruit. Great cheeses available. Would be a 5 star rating if their crockery, cutlery and cooking books werent so expensive.

Big variety of items available and closing time on Saturday is 7pm.

Adequate parking.Range of products better than most Woolworths in the area. NO prices on any items in checkout queue despite requesting them from management over and over. I have stopped buying from the queue as the reason for no prices is that these items are all overpriced and no one would buy them if they knew the prices. Management is fast asleep and despite long queues will not put in extra cashiers. Rustica bread and croissants baked on the premises are very good.

Woolies is OK, just that prices have gone up so much since lockdown not just with them but all shops when they are asking for R100 odd rand for 6 liters of Long Life Milk its ridiculous, all we are paying for is The Name Woolworths. Not at all impressed with them .

Woolworths Bassonia - your shelves are empty and your trolleys are dirty . With the current Covid - 19 situation - your trolley higiene should be attended to urgently and seriously - spraying sanitizer onto a dirty trolley is not how you do it ! Your cashiers also need to be courteous and friendly... really not the standard one expects to find at Woolworths! If you want to keep your customers you need to up your game !
