My review is based on my first 2nd visit and walk-ins, their service is excellent so far and their stuff is friendly. Most importantly their products are of good quality. The only thing I would like them to improve is to equip their stuff with some basic usage knowledge of their products. Ill update the review after more than 5 visits.

Thieves, dont order from their online store. They wont deliver and will ignore you when you call for refund. Lost R4,200 for a scale that never arrived and no money received from them on the promised refund

On 10 July 2020 I ordered 50L of Deionised water. One container of 25L was delivered. On 1 Aug I sent another email requesting an invoice and also queried delivery of second container. It was decided to refund me.After 7 more emails from me still no product and no refund. 15 Sept 20 I asked for the name of the CEO - it seems they dont have one as I never received a reply on the last email.

Half a star at most, at least they delivered. technical support is a zero. expect no assistance with paperwork such as COAs and invoices. all you get is a run around and lies as to who is responsible for what..

Scammers.Charge you insane prices for courier fees and then send you the wrong stuff. Cant get a hold of them horrible customer service. They will take your money and youre either gonna get NOTHING or youre gonna get something completely different to what you ordered

I would not write a bad review for a company simply because of a mistake happening which might frustrate me. I always give the company multiple tries before I come to a conclusion.  I have done 4 seperate orders through ChemLab and with each order I have been disappointed in multiple ways.Ordering online is a joke, you make payment and get a notification informing you that the order will be processed and a sales representative will contact you, they also supply a ticket number. The ticket number links to a system that does not work, it denies you access. Not even once did a sales rep contact me. When you phone in to speak to a rep, understanding them is very difficult due to a very bad switchboard system. The reps tell you they will contact you back and never do. When your order arrives at their dispatch, they never contact you to let you know. You will drive yourself mad trying to communicate with them digitally via email or their whatsapp channel, which they ignore and never answer you in. There is a huge level of incompetence in their service, with no obvious managerial oversight.One of the sales reps lied to me on a Friday at 2PM telling me they were closed over my cell phone while I was standing at their dispatch down stairs. They are open untill 5pm on Fridays.They also sell you expired stock, which always ends up being late. I bought Pure Distilled Water 25L for my lab and the PH was 4.48. One could forgive 5.5 as pure water is PH7 but becomes slightly acidic to 5.8 if left open to the atmosphere for a day or so, which they are not supposed to do.On my last order I phoned multiple times and eventually got an answer from a rep telling me my order was there and I can come and collect it. I drove 55 mins from Krugersdorp and got there to collect and my order was not there nor was it ready. Wasted time, fuel, money and energy dealing with them. I had to go back the following week to collect and waited 2 hours at their dispatch because nothing was organised or ready.I will never use them again. Save yourself the frustration, time, money and disappointment and buy from other vendors.

Have ordered online and they said it would take 24 hours for it to be delivered and a week later and still not delivered I phoned and Phoned and no one can help or tel me when it wil be delivered and make excuses and dont answer their phone very disappointed DONT BUY FROM THEM worst experience!Update some of my test tubes were broken on delivery and still waiting for my other stuff but they dont care they are utterly useless

I ordered 2 thermometers on Saturday 13:00 received my order yesterday at 8 oclock. I dd get an email to track my order Tuesday at 8 am it was here. I am more than happy about the services.

Products are subpar. Petri dish sleeves tear at the slightest breeze, requiring re-sterilization and packaging.Their customer service is also non existent. I have tried to email their sales and info department 4 times to no response.

This is one of the worst supplier experiences I have ever had. The incompetence is truly breathtaking, but it is the lies about very simple things that really shocked me. Why lie about what stock you have? Why lie about when stock has been sent or not? Totally bizarre. Luckily this was a small order, but the last straw was Dumusani on the phone saying: Come-on its only R500UPDATE:Just got a call from someone named Jabulo. He complained about my review and said he would write a bad one on my business. These are the people working for ChemLab... Just astounding...

First time buyer and highly disappointed.Ordered a few items on Monday as delivery is stated 2 to 3 days and I needed the order before the weekend. Day 3 comes and I received nothing nor any feedback. I email them. No response recieved. Day 5 I have to email them again,guess what ? No feedback !! I understand delays can happen , but you cant even keep me in the loop ?Im highly disappointed anfuture orders will be placed elsewhere. Unless you have a really good reason and approach to rectify this with me.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. This company is a joke. Jabulo and Dumasani should not be employed. Incompetence like you cannot believe. Lies and stories. Dumasani has accused me of theft and Jabulo has said he will write a bad review about my business. It seems many others have had equally awful experiences. Placed an order 17 Feb, no shipping update by 23 feb so I emailed and asked where the order was. I then received a call to say there was no stock. I said cancel it and refund, and found the products elsewhere. Emailed about my refund in March. 09 March get a call with a long story. Confirmed I want a refund. 10 March I get a shipment update from them as they decided to send the products instead of doing the refund because they thought it would be better that way. I would not recommend.

Their products are good quality but their general service is appalling ,it is mind blowing how long it takes for them to get even a small order ready and even if you place ahead and pay in advance once they tell you it is ready to collect you can still expect a lengthy wait when you get you. Will see how todays order collection goes.

I got the worst service, i placed an order which was said to be available on the website, weeks later i had to follow up with them, i never got any communication, just for them to tell me they did not have the order in stock and they do not know when they will have it, like i was supposed to guess all of that, then i had to talk to 3 different consultant about my refund which takes almost a month to be processed

In this trying times, a company such as them, supplying essential products, must be snowed under orders, phone calls and demands and they went the extra mile for me. Horrible sales and post sales service! Placed an order on the 2nd via their website today is the 11th and I havent recieved it, phoned and spoke to 3 people none of whom know where my order is and they cant find the invoice that their own system generates! They make you forward everything and provide no confi3or feedback. No one gets back to you, you have to follow up, extremely unprofessional! Their WhatsApp service is a complete and utter joke, everyone says they will escalate to management but no one ever does. Not impressed, will never buy again. Spent more in airtime talking to them then I did ony actual order.

They have excellent customer service. I received my first order in excellent condition within 3 days, and Im based in Cape Town. My 2nd order unfortunately leaked out while being delivered to me in Cape Town, could have been Chemlabs fault or the couriers, I cant be sure. I then reported this to them and received a replacement in 2 days. I would definitely recommend them :)

I was very pleasantly surprised when I placed my very first order on a Sunday morning, and was called by a very helpful staff member that same evening asking if he could deliver the item for me! Needless to say I was not expecting that, first being a Sunday and secondly with all the lockdown issues. I will most definitely be purchasing from them again.

They are very unreliable. Try the website you will see what I mean. When you enquire about something they will say it is available when its not. The sales consultants are very biased on who is buying the product, management must be in charge on who can buy their products and who can not.

I would strongly recommend this supplier as I had a very  good turn around time for delivery and  was so pleased by the support and if you want a supplier that  gets it right the first time then look no farther

Absolutely fantastic service. I was struggling to find a particular chemical in Durban and had to resort to purchasing from JHB. The fact that this company has all the product info online for each product and prices (why cant more SA companies be like this) and an online paying system made purchasing really easily and I received regular informative updates on where my order was. It ended up being in my possession in less than 24hrs. This worked out faster and significantly cheaper than having the DBN based companies sourcing the chemical.I will say that their categories on the website can be a little confusing, rather use the search function and select display all results as the pop up results dont always yield the most obvious product match.I would happily do business with this company again and recommend it others.I really appreciate the great service!

Shocking service from this supplier. Would not recommend this company to anyone.Our order was meant to take 3-5 working days, was dispatched only 7 working days after payment and is only due to be delivered 10 working days after the initial order was placed and paid for online. Requested that the late order be put on overnight express, it was only dispatched on economy road freight to save money. Really poor service and staff members dont seem to care about sorting out the problem.Extremely difficult to get through to Chem Lab Supplies, when you do no-one returns your calls. We are now experiencing significant delays due to non delivery. Brighton at Chem Lab Supplies does not return calls and avoids telephone calls when eventually getting through to the main desk.

Ordered and paid on 16/03 - website confirmed that they had stock.And then they pulled the biggest disappearance act in the history of any manufacturing firm. No Stock. Empty promises on Facebook. No response on emails and no answering of phonecalls. All I want is my money back; currently contacting other people who are complaining to take this matter further. Have been advise to open a SAPS case.

I placed an order on the 6th, Chemlab supplies confirm the order on 11th March, 2020. I have not heard from them since. I have send them emails to find out about the status of my order they have since failed to respond. I would have thought by now I would have received acknowledgemento of my emails or tracking number for the shipment. It appears that they are failing to meet customer demand, this isnt looking good for Chemlab Suppliess brand. Chamlab supplies doesnt have the courtesy to update their customers. It is even shocking reading customers review that they received wrong products.
