Goldman furnitures is honestly one of the most unreliable places I have ever purchased goods from. People please do not purchase from them. From managers to staff I have been waiting for a manager to get back to me, and have never had my mattress issue sorted out. The past 2 months have been a struggle, yesterday the entire day I was waiting for a manager to get back to me and still nothing.They should really work on their customer service skills and assisting the customer, as they just about the moment now.

They are a bunch of crooks. We bought a chest of drawers yesterday which they delivered to our house. During the drop off, the delivery guy was showed some chips and scratches. They left and only when the plastic was removed, could the inferior quality of the item be seen. Besides the chips that must have been caused in transit from the shop to my house, the drawers didnt for properly and rail was completely substandard. The shop was informed immediately. When we returned it however, they insisted we damaged it and refused to refund our full money. They initially only wanted to refund half and keep R750. (this excludes their delivery charges) but eventually paid back R1100 of the R1500 paid yesterday. They also initially refused to give receipts.

Great variety and friendly service. Lots of furniture to choose from, electronic equipment is also available. Very cheap items and it is good quality. Two floors of furniture to choose from. A good lay bye option to be had as well. Very nice over all experience.

Delivered my couches with the incorrect cushions. I was then told that that is how the couches come even though the shop display was different. The delivery man argued with me about the shop display as well, insisting that the cushions he had delivered were the ones displayed in store; that he knows what Im talking about because I work there. I showed him a photo of the display that I had taken. He then agreed that I have the right to choose my cushions and said hed be back with the correct ones. That was five days ago and Im still waiting.

The treatment today was not the same as all the other times. Was buying bar stools, told that theres only 2 left and one has no screws. I told them that the screws on the one on display can be inserted on one of my new chair. To my surprise, they started giving me the whole bottom part of the chair on display - I got annoyed and started telling them that i want everything about my chair ti be brand new and not from the display because then it means its second hand. I also mentioned that theres a difference between screws and part of a chair which is a point they refused to understand. The Indian guy (nor sure if hes the manager or owner) just kept mentioning that he wants to lock and go home. I am really disappointed with the service I got today

I just want to say a big thank you to Faizel for his excellent service! I purchased a bed and asked for delivery. My payment only went through late the afternoon(after 4pm) and Faizel still made delivery possible before 5pm!

Indian customers are the worst . I purchased a 1052 custom lounge suite and went over to Goldman this past Sunday (07/05/2017) to collect the finished product. Upon inspection the wood was scratched, the screw caps were falling off, the material was faded and a piece of wood was damaged. Understandably these things happen. However, what was shocking was the way Faizel, who i assume is the owner, that plays the manager, handled the situation. When i brought the defects to his attention his response was, if you are going to look for faults, you will find faults. To which i made clear that I have paid for the product thats meant to be in the condition you advertise in your showroom. He continuously insisted that there is noting wrong with the product and eventually said that I should expect an inferior product because and i quote you are paying R9000 instead of R100 000.00, therefore you should accept inferior quality, as it is produced with defects. He went on to say that Indian customers are the worst and that he would rather not sell to indians. If this is the case Faizel... why dint you ask me to leave when I walked in?To anyone who is reading the review, what you see in the showroom is not the quality you can expect and the customer service you receive from the staff at Goldman furnishers is not the service you can expect from the owners themselves. To the owners, it doesnt matter how good your product looks or the price of the product, service your customer to the best of your ability. Do not treat an individual who purchases a lower price product any different then an individual who could clear out your stock. Customer isnt always king, but respecting the people that help you get through shows an individuals character.
