The things l enjoy about this collection club is its beautiful layout, reasonable amount of machines/ equipment for every member ( you don’t have to wait for someone to get done often) , fruits on the house, getting my clothes ironed, the jacuzzi, sauna room, steam room, the pool, and towel service!!What l hate about this gym is that;• The reception ladies ( yes, all of them) are not welcoming, the attitude is terrible, it was so bad l had to leave the gym and go to another collection club! If ever you need any help or assistance ask for Amo, she’s probably the only person in that gym who comes to work with professionalism in mind.•The classes are usually empty and very boring.

They were offline for 3 months and we had to sign in manually for each visit. Manual logs never reflects accurately on vitality.Today I wanted to cancel the membership, they’re offline again and they couldn’t find the manual form after keeping me waiting for 20 mins.This branch needs to be removed from the Collection.

Its an amazing 5 Star facility. It felt good to be a health club that doesnt feel like a gym.

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially over covid period. Yoga and Pilates are just the best and each class is carefully curated by Patrick and Marika, will definately give them a shout out

Great Healthclub. Excellent service with friendly professionals (from Personal trainers, fitness instructors to the cleaning staff). A conducive environment in health and fitness for working professionals, after a long day. I make it a point to train and relax my body here at least twice a week. Good one, guys 👍🏾👌🏾💯

This is a first class experience. Nothing came close in previous experience to the VIP treatment I received the day I visited. Friendly staffs, friendly follower gym-goers... Just too appealing to me.

Excellent facilities. Pool warm absolutely clean and salt water pool so gentle on skin. All equipment clean and everywhere is beautiful and luxurious. Very tastefully designed.

I love the co - working space

I normally train in the evenings after 7, its really quiet, I have access to any machine without waiting in lines. They also making sure that there is no overcrowding, given the current lockdown rules

Bad service. Zero people skills. Poor Communication.Lots of false promises when you join but absolute disregard for you once youre a member.

The phone just rang

The club is definitely not worth the money. Just a word of advice make sure everything is in writing. Management and sales will promise you the world and not deliver. Also if you plan on cancelling, ensure you email and ask for confirmation as they will say your contract is cancelled over the phone but actually not cancel it.

Love Melrose gym, just not great when they run specials and all the freebies come and raid the gym for a month. Like the regular crowd. More mature and educated group.

Expensive but great quality of gym. The collection makes your gym experience slightly more high class with fruit on the house and freshly laundered towels. The equipment is no different to the normal virgin active gyms, however, there are fewer people using the machines which means that you don’t have to compete for your equipment of choice. The pool is often full though, so if you’re a keen swimmer don’t expect a free lane whenever you feel like it. Overall very good quality gym and generally worth the money. They also have a concierge service which can be very convenient too.

Great facilities and always guaranteed to get a treadmill. Includes some additional perks being a Virgin Active Classic Club, including towels on arrival, complimentary fruit, WiFi and no need to bring lock with digital lockers standard. They also offer shoe shining services and you can have your suit and shirt steamed while you workout.

Reception lacked level of etiquette I have come to enjoy from other Collection clubs. The Nu staff, futher degenerated my expectations as they fambled to provide excellent service. This was my second time in this gym and my experience has not changed. I will definitely not be coming back to this gym.

A clean and friendly gym with staff on hand to advise on the machines and explain to you what is best for you. Gets very busy after 5 pm so best to get there earlier or after the rush at around 6.30.

Five star gym and staff is great and well groomed. Service is the best

This is probably the nicest gym in South Africa. They purposely keep the number of members at a low maximum to ensure equipment is always available. They have the latest gym equipment that you can communicate with your device that has NFC capability, the Pilates class has about 15 reformers etc.As you enter they provide you with a towel and the lockers dont require padlock as they have keypad locks on the doors. Staff is friendly and they have a chiropractor and multiple biokineticists onsite.

Just a request: 1. no reason to switch on the hundreds of light at daytime - why do private people have to save energy and no Co/business is co-operating!!! switch on the spots for the hunks infront of the mirrors!2. please provide 10 more abdomen horses for every club - the cheapest app but never available!!!3. if you look at the average age, the music is far too heavy metal - please more moderate music!!!4. please request that personal trainers dont show their clients to exercise calves on the steps - use the steps for that please!!!

You pay a fortune to be a member and there is only one hairdryer working in the men’s change room. Quite a few of the treadmills don’t work. Just don’t see the value. Moving my membership elsewhere
