Had an awesome time at the river. Peace and tranquil lots of trout fish jumping

Great place for fly fishing as well as ground fishing. The upstream section is wide calm and relatively shallow, followed by a rocky section right across the river. Lots of carp and mud fish in my experience. Havent caught yellow fish but other fishermen report that they have.Basic braai areas and ablutions are sufficient.Havent tried the chalets so cant comment on those.

The access road is a bit rough, there is a lottle shop available and the access fee can be paid using a card.Facilities arent great, but available. Fishing was great.

Be ready for a shock. No bathroom facilities in 4 bedroom units. Cant wash dishes in chalet, you have to put it into a bucket and go wash it at the ablution block. Ablution block filthy, spider webs everywhere. No one informs you about the fact that you dont have a bathroom or even water in your chalet - poor management
