Useless... They offer assistance as you walk in, you explain your requirement, in my case they send me to the technical counter, after a 15 mins wait to be assisted, you are asked a series of questions only to be told that they do not have the equipment or software to assist you... huge waste of ones time !!!

Wow... What a horrible service I Got. The lady didnt want to help us from the time we arrived you could see she wasnt interested. She then gave us form to fill after we waited a long time. After she told us that they dont take a phone that has a dent. I mean, I brought the phone for software problem and the phone is not even a year old. The small dents she talks about O had never even noticed them before. If im supposed to put my phone in a pouch why doesnt it come with it or if I was told to do that. This is really unfair. My phone still looks new and only removed the pouch because it was ruining my phones with those little scratches it was getting from the pouch itself. No more Samsung for me. I mean I still have 3 old Huawei mobile phones that never ever gave me problems and also took on contract. I dont know why that shop is there because wow. Its very very bad service.

We had an issue with an online purchase and instead of sending us to the service center they made us pay R500 to update the firmware on the phone and assured us the watch would work. It still didnt work and they gave us the runaround. They ignored my emails asking for assistance and didnt call back when they said they would. Absolutely shocking service. Clueless staff and made us spend R500 unnecessarily to update the phone.

Service was bad, the staff looked and acted nowhere near professional. The staff were leaning in front of the Samsung S21 series and I almost missed them. I asked about the Standard Bank credit card promotion and they knew absolutely nothing about it. They should have told me that it was only exclusive to online purchases or offer to find out for me. No wonder the store was empty on a Sunday afternoon, whereas the Istore just the corner was super busy and the staff very exceptional

Absolutely disappointing 😕.I bought a samsung A31 in December, and now in March it stopped working. When my husband dropped the phone off to be repaired he told the staff it was very important that we save the images on the phone, the staff advised they might be able to save it, not only did they not save the images but lied about what was wrong with the phone. When they called to say my phone was ready to collect they said the phone had disconnected from the software and when I collected it they said they replaced only the LCD, when I asked why they erased my phone if it was only the LCD my question was met with silence. After all the trauma I have endured from this incident I insisted the store give me a screen protector free of charge as its the least they can do after the poor service and taking my screen protector off. I asked to speak to the manager and what a pathetic experience that was, he didnt even greet me or talk to me directly, it actually took another customer telling him about customer satisfaction for him to agree to giving me a screen protector.As it stands I still dont know exactly what was wrong with the phone but I lost precious memories that can not be replaced and this was met with lies, no compassion and no explanation. I am very disappointed that I moved over to Samsung and would definitely change brands if given the option.Shocking service, poor management, no compassion and absolute liars.If I could give less than 1 star on this review, I would.***EDIT***The below reply to my review is just as useless as the store and its staff 👇👇

*Come on guys. Ive had great service here before, whats going on now?*Im actually quite upset by the service Ive been receiving regarding a phone repair. My phone was booked in a week ago on tuesday for the usb c audio port not working. This is really easy to diagnose, just plug in any headphones, but the phone wasnt even looked at till I phoned on Friday (the second time I phoned that week) and asked them to please check the phone. I was then told that the parts would be ordered and the following Tuesday (today) but got a call yesterday that because of the public holiday on this Friday, I wouldnt be able to get the phone till next week. I dont understand how the public holiday in 4 days prevented the parts from arriving today... Ive phoned a few times and have been told that I would be called back and nothing.I have actually asked for the phone back so I can take it to another authorised repair centre and was told that I couldnt do that either because the part had already been orderd.Im actually super upset that the turn around time on a repair for a phone is almost two weeks compared to the one day that SSS cellular near the Eastrand offered to do for me.Seriously guys, come on. Your service has been much better in the past when Ive been to you before. Whats going on?

Staff trying to force me to buy floor stock private.When I Asked whats the price I was quoted 2 time the real price and when I asked for a written quote I was again quoted cost of the Quote is R250.Shocked the staff working together in misleading customers and Samsung handling the bill.

Quoted on a TV, quote does not show how long its valid for, and it was not told to me the price quoted was a special price, day I decide to go in to purchase the product, I call in to ensure price is still valid, manager then told me it was a special and this specific day is the last day for the special, on my way to go pay, I decided to call again and make sure that there is stock available, im told by the manager that it is sold out.....and I cannot come in to pay for it until a TV is sourced for me. I still want this TV. But Samsung eastgate dont seem to want to help.

Nothing but disappointment from this branch.I went there about 3 times with a phone to ask if they would fit a screen I bought elsewhere and the lady I spoke to told me that they do do that and that I would be charged R650 labour, which was cool. I then got everything ready and the day I took the phone there with money in hand, I get there and am told that they dont do such. After ordering the screen overseas and confirming with them THREE times.Also, Repent and believe in Christ as your saviour.

To whom it may concernVery bad service and no communication or feedback received by the Samsung staff at your Eastgate storeWe contacted Samsung and Telkom (contract) where to take a phone with a speaker problem. We were adviced to take it to Samsung Eastgate, where technicians are on site and the phone will be fixed on the same day.When we took the phone on Thursday, 2 January, the lady at Customer service was not really interested in assisting and immediately said we should come back on Monday the 6th of January, as the technician was on lunch. She had no intention to provide a service. After insisting that we will shop and come back later that day on the 2nd to give the technician time to look at the phone and replace the speaker.The same lady was supposed to phone us, which she did not do as promised. When returning to your store later the afternoon we were informed that you do not keep parts instore. And that the part will arrive on Monday, 6 January. We were also informed that the technician cant give the phone back as it is in pieces. The part can only be ordered if the phone is taken apart and in pieces.When phoning on the 6th, no one knows the status of the repair. They will return the call, needless to say, we received no call back.Is this a service you are proud off?Why advice customers to go to your Eastgate Store, if the problem cant be sorted out on the same day as you do not keep stock of parts and something as stupid as a speaker?Once again, no feedback received from your Eastgate StoreWe had to phone again today, apparently they will call back tomorrow. Still no parts in store.The service of Samsung as an entity and the Eastgate Store is pathetic.Raising this issue with Samsung just to get a respond to send an email - 3 hours later no reply.How can it take 24 - 48 hours for the case to be assigned to someone. I doesnt help you phone me to say you received the query. I would like to receive a solution for the problemYour turnaround time and staff is a jokePlease phone me with a solution to resolve the problemOnce again we have to deal with incompetent Samsung StaffStill no solution to the problem, no confirmation if the part in question is in stock. What a worst store to be still kept at east gate mall , I took my s6 edge phone last year December 2018 for water damage and new battery upgrade. They charged me r4300.00 for repairs and till today my phone has been there for over 5 months with the same feedback saying they are waiting for one part . I am starting to believe they have misplaced the phone and buying time . I dont even want to start with describing the staff , Incompetent with a nature of undermining people , I dont know if its a retail thing or they are selective in measuring clients with visual observation on what amount of respect should they give. If I were to take back the day I took my phone there I would , I dont know why the store is still open rather make more space for another sneaker store.Pathetic.
