The bootcamp itself was probably the hardest and most rewarding experiences Ive ever had. The work environment truly pushes you to your limit and makes you work harder, with the peer evaluations it is truly a place of each one teach one where we learn from each other and keep on trying our best to do better than the day before. If you work hard here you will truly not regret trying it out for yourself, everything that you learn here is its own reward...

Besides the transforming coding and problem solving skills I have gained daily its an environment for self development and realisation. Once youve started with the experience you cant really imagine yourself settling for the ordinary.

Tu
Review β„–47

The syllabus is designed in such a way that you start your coding journey with the most basic building blocks in C and use those to master concepts and eventually languages. Students are encouraged to play around with skill levels and innovate code by going into real-time challenges in corporate, where you can test your code. Everything depends on peer to peer interaction, you learn from each other and pay it forward. The programme is intellectually challenging and is not for the faint hearted. You need to keep working at finding a solution, no matter how often you fail. The environment is emotionally charged, youll get on peoples nerves and them yours, but youll all end up stronger for it because sooner or later you realise you need each other to make it to the finish line.

An amazing institution ever, this school unlocks hidden abilities, secret talents and really creates diverse possibilities, for an individual. It breaks boundaries and beyond - and not only in terms of technology, but the work itself and how you really get to connect to people from different backgrounds, basically nothing is impossible, I personally have learned that - Every problem has a solution, be it big or small, if you are willing to give it your all, you will win. And most importantly refusing to be arrogant and willing to work with others as a team, because together we win, Thank you for the experience and really opening my eyes to what I could really do and offer the world out there.. not only is the end of the bootcamp - THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING, GRATITUDE..

The program is great and all but with limited focus (18-35yrs), what about old dogs like us with interests in skills like coding/ingeneering but never get the opportunity to pursue their drive/career path because they dont afford to & when opportunities arise theyre not for all us but for youth, what about us, our dreams dont matter anymore?Questions:-Are we outdated/expired maybe too old to learn?-Is my dream less valuable than that of youngsters?-Are we supposed to focus in digging ranches & packing boxes in some retailers or drive delivery vehicles to survive.-How do you lead by example to exercise that its never too late to learn when were expected pay to get qualification in which are offered for free only because we are old.-What are we not told about our ages dat is so inconvenient? If its possible please make a platform for old folks like me with a never dying ambition/dream to pursue.-I am an idealist with a huge hanger for knowledge of what your program is offering who lacks the developing skill and more for:GamingApp developingOnline marketing & management

Hi, my name is Amos Paunde, I heard about the opportunity that wethinkcode is offering to none metrics, and yet I did apply for it, I started the first test on the 14th December and achieved level 16 and finished test 2 and 3 on the 30th December. While I was playing the second test, achieved level 10 something went wrong I was still left with 15-18min to continue playing but I was banished from the game. The message was β€œgame over” and it took me to the main page, I tried to sign out and signed in but was saying the same thing. And what is more funny is that it did not even write the date and the time that I played test 2, but the first test was detailed. I tried to play the third one and also finished up at level 10 and yet also wasn’t showing the date and the time played. And from there I knew that something wasn’t right.I got an email from wethinkcode saying β€œmy application was successful and that I had to be checking my emails to know if I qualify”. The following morning on the 31st December I got a message saying that I did not make it!My question isn’t was supposed to know if am I qualified or disqualified in January? And what is the team response for what happened to me while playing the game?

Great ideology behind We Think Code_. Here no one can (nor will) spoon feed you the work, you need to put in the time and effort to improve. Based on peer to peer correction you and fellow peers correct each other and learn from one another in a way that could be amazing if you do effort to understand the work. Again the experience you will get from We Think Code_ is a direct equivalent to how much effort you put into it.EDIT: 2 years heading on 3 at WeThinkCode_. The way WTC_ has degraded over the past 2 years is shocking. You send emails trying to clarify details on requirements and get a response after 10 days if you are lucky. The specs to graduate are continuously changing and there is no clear communication about what you should be doing in order to stay in the clear. After 2 years of study you only receive accreditation for 1 years study. I would suggest that anyone who thinks about joining WTC should really reevaluate their other options. I am sad to say that the journey that I started with so much excitement ended with me regretting the choice.
