Revive dry cleaners nicolway is my neighborhood go to for laundry and tailoring/alterations. Whilst I often go there because its convenient karma Ive had a mediocre experience overall. Ive received garments later than the Promised date and had to ask them to re-do certain alterations that they had made. Ive never had issues with their laundry though. They have a wide range of services, and the seamstress there is super friendly and has been there as long as I can remember. They are also very fairly priced.

If I have another star I would so give it, I am so happy with my riding boots. I couldnt find anyone to fix them but I found Revive Dry Cleaners. So now I can ride safely again. Thank you Revive ........Job well done, happy client happy life.

The most incompetent dry cleaners ever. Took my sons school blazers to put scrolls on. 1st of all it was not done on time. When I went to collect the scrolls was put up wrong after explaining to the lady about 4 times. I asked her to re do. To collect the next day. I went back today. And not been done. She told me that she had no time to do it. She had to work at the front desk.😡This is very frustrating to me. Very rude. Kyalami Corner

Friendly staff and neat shops. From a Guest House we send in dry cleaning on a daily basis for our Guests at a nearby Dry Cleaner (not usually Revive but thought we should try it out). Handed in 2 coats and a leather jacket (R735 for leather jacket to be dry cleaned) and told it would all be ready Friday 4pm. Was a little early and thought I would try my luck to be told the leather jacket would not be ready today. The guest whos jacket it is leaves today for Cape Town. Also jackets and coats buttons, zips and clips were checked before leaving with slips, then receiving back one of the coats a button is missing. Really disappointing that it is indicated on the slip when to collect and letting down the guest staying here form overseas.

Previous comment of one star being too generous is 100% correct - this company deserves a negative rating. Took a load of laundry to be ironed at the Douglasdale branch. Ten, that’s right TEN items absolutely ruined! Literally brand new shirts and tops and 3 pairs of pants/slacks are now discolored, and shiny burn marks all over. Cannot even consider wearing any of these items again. Of the balance, everything except four items actually has to be re-ironed as they are so creased (ironed in creases!) If I could upload photos here I would do so.Roy, the one manager, asked me to give him “a day or two” to investigate - two weeks later I’m still waiting for him to come back to me. Chrissa told me the same thing, with the same result.Apparently the owner, Karen, threatens her staff’s jobs if they give out her surname or contact number and according to the operations manager, Chrissa, the feedback from the owner after 2 weeks of trying to get this resolved is “this is the risk you take when taking your clothing in to REVIVE Dry Cleaners. It’s not their responsibility if items are damaged.” To add insult to injury, the fact that I didn’t check all the clothes in-store on collection means I accepted the state of the ruined items. The fact that I was back at the branch in less than 20 minutes of collecting is irrelevant because “how do we know you didn’t damage your clothes at home and are now blaming us.” When I went back to complain and show them the damage, they needed to keep the items to “show the boss” but in their infinite wisdom decided to re-press them instead - with the result is that they are now utter ragbags and I would be embarrassed donating them to charity!This is why you have to pay up-front - it’s the only way they get any money from unsuspecting clients. Basically paid R310 to have clothing worth well over R3 000 ruined. If you care about your clothes and your appearance, run in the opposite direction!

Dropped laundry on Friday 21. Confirmed with Nicolway that it would be ready by 12 on Monday 23. Went to pick up at 13:00 on Monday, told it will only be ready on 27th. Supposed to be traveling. Expensive, poor service!

1 star is too many! Worst drycleaner youll ever experience. If you want your garments or curtains thoroughly ruined, and then have no accountability after that then this is the place for you. Completely destroyed my curtains!!! And the attitude and incompetence is unbelievable.

The worst service I have ever experienced. I am not even sure if some of my laundry touched water as they were not clean at all. My pants we all discolored and my t-shirts I can say for sure were not washed at all.Pathetic
