Go here to take a picnic, indoor soccer and basketball court and visit Howard the duck and his friends, the Dam itself needs a clean up but still a place for memories

Sweet, quiet and serene during the week especially from opening to around 12 noon when more visitors arrive. Love it!!

Had a wonderful walk and a full body work out at the parks two gym areas that have equipment for building strength using ones body weight. The dam is looking beautiful, well maintained and clean. I know safety has been a concern but we did not encounter any issues and I have heard that private security companies together with community watch are helping to keep the area safe. The community does regular clean ups of the dam and its clear that there is a sense of pride in the facilities. I will definitely walk there again and recommend it for a relaxing work out with a spectacular view.

The park is peaceful however it is slightly too dirty and not safe, you could get mugged inside the park because there is not much security...its private and suitable for walking your dog

An amazing well kept family park, with facilities for children of different age groups, 2 gym facilities for the adults and the beauty of the dam with ducks roaming happily around.

Such a great green space. Really wish more people in the area made use of the park. Its sorry that the solar lights were stolen and city parks have now left the bare poles standing in the park, but still a great space to go for a walk and just unwind after work or over a weekend.

It is peaceful and quiet which is what you can expect at a park.

The Dam is well kept and clean and you can bring kids to play by the dam as there is a play area and more importantly for me was the ability to fish

Use to be very neat and clean but it seems that the play park is been targeted and vandalized dont know for what reason defnetly go to delta park and the students think that its a place to sit and kiss was disappointed in westdene dam where is the supposed to be security

Quiet and peaceful dam. Its a good space to have a piniac with family and play with your pets. The dam does have ducks and some locals say its actual not a safe spot to hang out at. Just make sure you go with someone.

Westdene Dam is one of the environmental friendly places with beautiful bird life and many other species that live there. The Dam that is divided into two with trees and plants that grow inside the water makes the Dam to be even more beautiful.

#Dam is open today 16 Dec 2017#Added VR 360 deg tour. Good place to go for a walk plus dogs can go along 2. Phase 1 complete. 2x gym areas. 2x playgrounds. New walkway is great.

It was not a good 1st impression...extremely polluted. Big kids 15yrs & older playing in kiddies play area not giving little ones a chance. So not even 1 star...sorry. no toilets guys using back wall of residence houses.
