Super impressed with Garmin SA. My watch face was badly cracked and out of warranty. Couriered the watch to them on Tuesday, they received it on Friday and early Monday morning I received a quote. Super efficient discussions on the phone and confirmation of proof of payment was sent immediately. They basically replaced my device for a fraction of the price. Keep up the good work Garmin SA!

Fantastic Stuff and Outstanding Service! Had a problem with the heart monitor on my Fenix 6 Sapphire. Booked it on a Monday and received a replacement on Thursday. Loved the place as well! Received excellent service from very friendly and helpful personnel. Booked my device in to assess the reason for the screen that wouldnt turn on. Received the assessment result and a quote the same afternoon. The device could not be fixed and I received a free replacement from Garmin. The new device was delivered to my door in less than 24 hours after booking in the original device.Would recommend to anyone looking to buy a new device, device accessories, or for device maintenance to visit this store.

Absolutely shocking service, handed my device in to see if it could get repaired. Received an email stating that a replacement unit would be dispatched to me within 24 to 72 hours. 2 weeks later, still no unit, phoned to find out where it was, was told they were still waiting for stock. No communication happened to say that there was a delay with stocking, was advised to rather upgrade to the next model and pay the difference. If I had wanted the next model, I would have bought it in the first place.

Great place to visit , makes no difference if you buy a Garmin here or at another shop no change in prices still expensive.Why do still have to update mapping? If the device is still in the box according to the sales people Yes its all fine , when actually its not cost another R200 for an update . Not playing the game Garmin.

Excellent service. We handed in my Garmin Instinct at 16h00 on Wednesday, they tested it and informed us it will be replaced by Friday afternoon, and Tuesday morning a brand new watch arrived at our doorstep. No hassles and no fuss. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

Absolutely love their after service and the brand! I bought a venu garmin late in Nov 2020, in December 2020 , a few weeks of having the unit, I noticed some scratches and a faulty pixel, rather dissapointed as I hardly used the device ( only running , yoga and swimming) and had not fallen or done any rough sports etc, I returned the device to Garmin SA for inspection and they replaced the unit within warrenty the very next day ! New device was delivered to my home - no hassles. I want to thank Ibraheem & Khumbulani for their proffesional service that they provided me with.Super happy with my choice in the Gramin brand.Tamara

Amazing service. Got my watch from the Multiply on line shop in July last year. In early December the strap broke so I had to wait until they reopened this year to send it back. Contacted th Multiply online store, they arranged a courier to collect it on Thursday and I had a new device on Monday. Great service from both Multiply and Garmin. I am impressed.

I am thoroughly impressed with the service I received from Garmin -- the screen on my vivomove HR started fading/disappearing, so I took it in to be fixed. They completely replaced the device no questions asked (even though I had bought it through a third party website) and couriered it to me 24hrs later.

I purchased a Garmin Fenix 5X last year in March 2019. The watch developed a heart rate sensor issue, not picking up the correct heart rate. My driver dropped off the watch with Garmin in Rosebank on Tuesday the 17th of March 2020. The watch was tested and replaced under warranty. Garmin SA even delivered the watch to my work premises - I received a brand new watch on the 20th March 2020. Best support and service ever from an SA company. GARMIN ROCKS!!! Best brand ever! I will never purchase another brand of fitness devices ever! Well done GARMIN!! #garminsarocks

I booked in a Vivosmart for a replacement band. I was told it would be delivered to my home repaired the next day. It was not delivered even a day after that expectation. After they were paid, their communications dried up. I have now heard this simple repair took a week in two other instances. Beware.

Just an update, they contacted me and we came to an agreement that is fare and I can honestly say they didnt disappoint, thank you for the service I will continue to buy your brand.Kind RegardsPetraHi GuysI’m really disappointed in your product vivosmart 3!I both this in the first week of May 2019 and it is now 4 months later Aug 2019I love everything about it but tech side but the strap just broke yesterday!When I looked closer I can see it is a design flaw cause the plastic that keeps it in place is so thin, the other side is also starting to tear.I contact your support center to find out where I can buy a new strap, I was informed that the whole unit will be replace cause it is still under warranty.And when I inquired what will happen if the straps break again after a couple of months, I was informed I have to buy a whole new unite cause the vivosmart 3 doesn’t come with replacable straps!!!!I WAS SHOCKED!I both a brand name cause I trusted that Garmin will provide me with a product that will last.Your brand stands for a sporting product and sporting activities that is supposed to withstand rugged activities, not break under everyday wear and tear!I’m and admin person I don’t even climb walls and mountains, I just wanted to count my steps!I wanted to know if I can give the watch back and buy another that I can replace the straps, and your support guy just told me I must go and ask the people I both it from: TakeaLot.In all honesty, you guys are the maker of the product and when I come to you with a problem about your product I get sent back to the vendor.The vendor is going to tell me it’s under warranty they will only replace it and send it to you. Excellent service. Im actually quite surprised by the negative reviews. I purchased a Garmin Dash Cam online/ overseas. When it stopped functioning, I took it to them. They gladly took it in and then the next day couriered a new replacement unit including accessories to me. So now I have an extra memory card, charger, mount, and USB cable! The customer service is great and the response time is good. The downside is that they dont seem to test the watches for functionality before dispatching to customers. I was given two faulty replacement devices after booking in a watch with a battery problem. I was given a watch with the same problem, then another one with a back-light problem.

Pros:- Can buy and view Garmin devices and accessories here.- Can (try to) have your Garmin products repaired here, usually for a fee.- Couriered my unrepairable Garmin unit back to me, which was convenient.Cons:- Ridiculously overpriced - they are more expensive than several local retailers. Was personally offered a special price at a reduced rate for a car GPS, but it was more expensive than just walking into another retailer and buying it outright. They dont seem to know what is going on outside their offices.- They couldnt repair my gps - all I needed was the right new cable really.- Sales staff I dealt with werent entirely competent, or hard of hearing with a non-existent attention span.- Sales staff I dealt with were reluctant to assist in answering questions about the Fenix 5 range. They didnt seem to know anything outside of the booklet they have and even rehearsing that appeared to be a challenge.- Unclear where to park to visit the building where Garmin is - either way, you pay for parking and you have to cross a dangerous road.- For a place that sells fitness accessories, you cant visit them if you arrived on your fancy bicycle. Ironic right?Would I or have I gone back after my first experience? Of course not, I find it more convenient and efficient purchasing and repairing my garmin products overseas. Go figure.

Perhaps a once off but i had a very different experience on my visit compared to the comments below (or they are just not used to people returning a watch....). Seemed totally disorganised, long queue, trolleys full of open returned items so at least 30 min for a hello, and then only to be redirected to the back office. Still waiting on a month for a reference number or receipt confirmation, that i was told to expect 10 min after my visit. Worst is having to try get hold of someone via their call centre first to pick a line that does not disconnect after 5min then if its answered, pray that you dont get disconnected 5 minutes later while still waiting for a pick up... (any time of day or day of the week). Definitely not what i expected from my first experience dealing with Garmin. At risk of going through a process like this again, ive decided to avoid for a while longer...
