Wasn’t impressed as a new customer, because clearly they refer us (me & my son) to a newly qualified dentist instead of their celebrity dentist. She wasn’t thorough in cleaning our teeth nor did she provide proper after routine

All they care about is looking good on social media ( by treating influencers and celebrities well ) Their consultations are RUSHED … not attentive at all , one dr told me I need to do fillings the day I came for the fillings a diff dr told me I shud instead do a root canal.. and basically turned away .. I spent 7 minutes in that office but was made to pay R600 for that as it was regarded as a “consultation “ they don’t send out invoices /quotations on time you always have to run after them , the receptionists give u different prices for the same treatment.. a joke and a disappointment waste of time , hope and money!!!

The worst service ever! Receptionist is so rude and not willing to answer questions honestly. I asked for an experienced orthodontist and the receptionist told me I don’t get to choose. What? ???! Fix your practice please.

The staff was warm and friendly however the admin was very disorganized. Im not happy with the work done on my teeth and yet I paid just over R2700 for a single filling and cleaning. Still experiencing pain after the filling. I went after being told theyre good and affordable, so much for that. You cant expect us to support black business with such poor service and value for money

Had a very unpleasant experience, the “doctor” seemed extremely lost, didn’t know what he was doing and gave me a lot of inaccurate information.He also answered calls & text messages during my consultation.Would not recommend.

Worst!!!! Scammers!!!! I went to this dentist, referred by colleague, #supportblackbusiness. After cleaning my teeth in less than 25 mins, they ask for a 200rands for “admin”. Could not explain what that was for, refused to pay this, cause not told prior. Boom!! Over 1000 invoice for just cleaning teeth. Horrible service, worst dentist experience I’ve ever had. Will never set my foot at Sunset Dentistry ever!!!

Dr K is awesome, makes you feel comfortable and ensures that youre aware of whats happening every step of the way. Hes friendly and kind while keeping to being professional. Affordable than most dentists, honestly feel like they care more about the patient than money. This is passion beyond practice.

I went to both Johannesburg South(22 Sep 20) and North(28 Sep 20) dental practices. The South admin team is organised however the North team really put me off, I requested a location pin (twice) days before my consultation and they only sent it to me 20mins before my appointment after I had called for the third time. They also didnt have my info so I put my foot down and told them to talk to their South colleagues as I wasnt prepared to complete another file. The experience/treatment with Dr K(22nd) and his colleague(28th) was pleasant - the admin team needs to work on their client/patient experience skills, it can be a turn off

I cannot fault the dentists friendliness, ease of access to the vicinity and commitment to the appointment date and time.I had a filling done and it was okay for a week and a half. Then the pain, severe sensitivity and discomfort kicked in again.This has me thinking what exactly was done? How long was this solution supposed to last?I called to see the dentist ASAP and the next available date was a week later.Not a good experience at all, very disappointed.
