Visited the Thinc Clinic for the first time yesterday and was attended to by Dr Vermaak.From the moment I entered I was made to feel completely at home by the ladies at the front desk. My Dr was an utter professional, ensuring that I understood everything thoroughly, offering & explaining the various treatment options available to me. I must mention that I, like most people am petrified of the dentist’s chair, however Dr Vermaak managed to alleviate my anxieties. Dr Dawjee is awesome! She is patient, gentle and really tries to make you comfortable.The clinic itself is relaxing, full of brightness and generally a nice place to be. The technology they use is also state of the art.Covid protocols are strictly observed and you never feel at risk during your session.Highly recommended

If you’re looking to spend R4k before you’ve even passed Go then great go to them. They quoted me between R360 000 and R420 000 EXCLUDING the cost of the specialist I’d also need to be referred to. My own dentist is known to be the best in the bus and worked on Nelson Mandela’s teeth, he quoted me R20 000 for his portion of the work and an additional R20 000 by the second dentist he referred me to (so approx R40 000 all together - a 10th of what Thinc Clinic sought to charge). I got a further opinion in addition to those, form another dentist whom quoted me R25 000 all inclusive (both this dentist and Thinc Clinic use the same product suppliers when I asked for the names). If you know in advance that you’re prepared to spend half a million Rand on your teeth, Thinc Clinic are your guys! If not then it probably isn’t worthwhile to go in for the consultation.

I broke a molar tooth and Dr Vermaak corrected the problem by installing a Crown. Even before the visit it was clear that this practice takes the required COVID-19 protocols seriously, which I found comforting for their team, and me too. The reception staff are super friendly and nice, and clearly competent too. Dr Vermaak and his dental assistant were superb and I had very little discomfort during the entire process, and certainly less than I anticipated. To walk in with a broken tooth, and what is left of a 20 year old steel filling and to leave 2 and a half hours later with a bespoke crown and feeling well is a pleasure indeed. I went in for a dental appointment with Dr Roopa and she helped me ease into the whole experience. After having had encountered some scary experiences in the past, Dr Roopa was assuring, talked me through the whole experience and helped overcome my fear of dentists. Comes highly recommended and their staff is friendly too!

Poor service, I went for a consultation on the 25th of August 2020 my medical aid paid R1600+ it’s now 3 months later still haven’t got my quotation. I called several times asking for a feedback they promise to call back and they never do.For the fact that I came in for a consultation it shows how badly I wanted to fix my smile I don’t know if they not taking their business serious or they not taking me serious.
