I have never done a google review but I find it fitting for this Optometrist,Such a dedicated and patient individual, My mom took my daughter last year and I have done the follow up visits.He takes real care of his patients, best care I have ever seen from a doctor. I was there this afternoon and feel he deserves to be known.If you looking for real dedication go to Spec-savers Florida, you wont be disappointed.

I apologize for the misunderstanding they never told me there was a strike in PE where the glasses are made that is where the delay was. The service was really good and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for delivering my glasses yesterday. Picked it up and even without electricity they helped me efficiently.

Spec Savers Florida branch is so efficient, the lady at the front is welcoming.... the Doctor knows his story I must say. I have been to optometrists and even Eye specialist none of them have ever told me what the problem is... I only found at the Florida branch.The doctor there is humble and takes his time in the consultation. When I went to collect my glasses it was just after 5.30pm he opened for and still gave me time to fit them n Express my self on how happy I am and I looked at my self in the mirror he was just patient. I will definitely refer anyone who needs to do an eye test or get frames. What ever you guys are doing at the Florida branch keep doing it!!!!😉😉😉

We have been apart of the Spec Saver group for a few years now.I must say the service rendered by this group is Excellent. My 9 year old son had his eye test booked at the Florida Branch and may I add not just efficient services from the staff, the Doctor/ Optometrist at Florida branch was specific with his condition which we were not aware of. We want to thank you for the knowledge gained and for the modesty and kindness displayed by you and your staff.. Had the best service from the kindest gentleman. Dr Bongani Khumalo. Do yourself a favour and go and get all your eye care issues addressed by this very competent group of professionals! I’ve been battling with an irritation in my left eye since yesterday, deciding to stop by the pharmacy to get ointment for some relief. Oblivious of the fact that just a few doors away there I would find an optometrist who was too happy to help me with. One of my eyelashes grew backwards into my eye and cause the worst irritation threatening to create an infection. I was just in time and Dr Bongani was willing to have a look and gladly and efficiently removed the irritation. What a relief. Today they have gained a very loyal and grateful client!

Best service ever! Bongani was so nice and patient with my mom thats deaf and has alzheimers. I would recommend him to any one! He will be my new optometrist from now one too.

Excellent service from friendly staff to Mr Bongani Sinethemba who was very thorough with my eye exam. His explanation and people skills are excellent. I felt very comfortable and wont be going anywhere else but this branch in future.

Ive had a mixed experience with this branch. I dont believe all of the negatives are entirely their fault but there is a huge gap in terms of customer service which needs to be addressed. Simple things like calling customers back when promising to do so and pro-actively notifying them of issues or delays goes a long way to improve the perception of the quality of service provided and can quickly be fixed.I also notice that the owner only responds to 5 star reviews. With 20 years of customer service experience behind me, I would recommend that he or she focus more on the negative reviews as this is where you learn how to improve your business. Finding the areas to turn 2 and 3 star ratings into 5 is what will get customers into your store. Praising those who say good things gains you nothing.

Spec-Savers Florida service was good until recently, with a change of owner, their level of service has dropped. I will definitely not use them again. I am very disappointed with the service I received.

About two years ago, i done my eye test and new frame at the Florida branvh in Goldman street, after numbers calls and emails it took a whole month and a half for them to submit my paper so that my point could be loaded on ny clicks card. Sadly their poor service has not changed. On the 11 March 2019 i made a booking for myself and family for the 6 April 2019 as the was the only Saturday with an available. On the 3 April 2019 i recieved a call from them saying that unfortunately they can not assist me has they are fully booked and the next available saturday is the 13 April 2019, When i asked the reason, they could not give me an answer. I called back to confirm time and then i was told that i couldnt be assisted on the 13 April 2019but only the 27 April 2019. I cancelled everything with spec savers due their poor client service. Honestly wont recommend anyone using them.

Not sure why, but service levels at SpecSavers Florida is terrible. Staff are unfriendly and it seems like no one wants to be there. This is my first and last time going there.
